Job Title: Dog Walker
Location: Oxfordshire
Job Type: Maternity Cover from April 2025-December 2025 either two part time positions or one full time with potential of staying on after maternity cover.
Pay: £12,000-£25,000 per annum
About Us: At Puurfect Paws , we are passionate about providing the best care and we are dedicated to ensuring that every dog receives the exercise, socialization, and love they deserve. We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic dog walker to join our team.
Job Description: As a Dog Walker, you will be responsible for walking dogs in a safe and enjoyable manner. You will ensure that each dog receives the exercise they need while providing companionship and attention.
Responsibilities:
• Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Walk both solo and small group walks of 2-3 dogs per walk.
• Provide basic training commands during walks.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude with dogs and their owners.
• Ensure that dogs are looked after appropriately at all times.
• Clean up after dogs and dispose of waste properly.
• Communicate regularly with dog owners about their pets’ behavior and needs.
Qualifications:
• Passion for animals and experience with dogs.
• Ability to handle dogs of different sizes and temperaments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle. Driving is a big part of the job as we specialise in solo walks, so driving from to client to client is essential.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
