I have lived in Oxfordshire all my life and I have owned, loved and had a passion for dogs from the age of three. Opening Sallywags Dog Salon has fulfilled my life long dream to have my own dog grooming salon. I passed a Level 3 Professional Dog Grooming course with distinction and have had practical grooming experience in other salons and with my own dogs.

‼️IMPORTANT‼️ ❗️PLEASE WATCH & READ❗️ This is how quickly a grass seed can imbed itself into your dog! Minutes, not days or weeks. I don’t want to bore you all, I am trying to save you money and your dog’s unnecessary discomfort so I will keep this brief as possible. 50% of dogs that I have in at the moment have grass seeds in their fur. It happens! MANY dogs I know have had to have veterinary treatment for imbedded seeds costing hundreds of £ pounds! Seeds get everywhere, ears, eyes, noses etc. A friend of mine lost her Labrador to sepsis due to an undetected grass seed that had imbedded itself in her armpit! Extreme perhaps, but it happens 😢. Know your dog. If they are showing extreme or unusual behaviour such as shaking head, hanging head, chewing feet or body, if they have any swellings or small puncture holes. Please get them checked by a vet ASAP!
