Few quick pics we managed to get at the end of a very busy friday shift at Kraken 😬
We had a phenomenal amount of amazing corals come through our doors today 💯%
Some unreal torches and beautiful sps, along with a lovely selection of colourful soft corals 🪸🪸
Hopefully Jameel and Mark will manage to get some better pics tomorrow at some point 👀
All the tmc stock was nicely settling in, with some stunning fish which will all be ready tomorrow 👌🐠🐟

Despite a very busy first weekend of 2025! 🤗
We still have tonnes of awesome livestock available instore! 💯%
Lots of gorgeous fish 🐠, corals 🪸 and invertebrates 🦐
All looking for their forever homes 👌
Shops back to normal opening hours so no need to worry or wonder if we will be there for you to visit 😁
We also have some good news to take us into the new year! 👀😬
We have decided to offer shipping on Fish as we already do with corals and inverts ✈️📦( mainland Uk only)
Obviously this service will always depend on current weather conditions and temperatures ❄️❄️
So atm we havent started and we are awaiting on an improvement in overnight temps before we get this underway! 🙏

Just a heads up to anybody that decides to come over to the shop today. Please be extra careful on the roads and your journey. Especially when you come onto the industrial estate where we are located. As with most side streets this morning, the roads in are quite deep with slush and snow so please take it slow 👌

What a way to go into the new year! It was never really in question but once again we have our 5 star pet shop license 🤩 its nice being able to reflect the effort our team put into maintaining livestock health ❤️

As new year approaches a quick reminder of our opening hours below

Tuesday 31st December (new years eve) 10:00 - 16:00
1st January (New years Day) closed

Its farewell to our beloved Epaulette shark, after a year of being with us 🦈🦈😢 She is off to her new home this afternoon,oh how she has grown 🥰 We will be sad to see her go, and we are sure she will be missed by our customers too. As she was certainly a crowd pleaser! 💯% However we are ultimately very happy at the same time as she was getting a little too big for the shop systems and now she has gone to a much more suitable tank 👌

🐳🐳 WHALE ALERT 🐳🐳 🐡🐡🐡 Monster of a porcupine puffer has just arrived at Kraken! 🐡🐡🐡 This guy is huuuuuuuggggeeeee!! 😱😱 Puts our resident Porky to shame 😅😅😅😅 Can see it taking alot of food to fill him up 🙈 🐟🐙🦀🦞🦐🦑🐚🐌

Feeding frenzy in the spicy tank 🤣🤣 The lionfish gang having a treat of live river shrimps 💪🦐🦐🦐🦐 Here we have.... Volitans lionfish ⚠️ Radiata lionfish ⚠️ Antennata lionfish ⚠️ Dwarf fuzzy liinfish ⚠️ Fumanchu lionfish ⚠️ All living happily together 👌 We must say this has to be our least favourite tank to algae clean 🤣🤣🤣

WEIRD WEDNESDAY WATCH!! 🤪 Heres a few weird and wonderful Oddballs who posed for the camera this morning 😅 If you are looking for that something a little bit different 🤔 Kraken has you covered 💯% Whether it be Crazy inverts, venomous fish or just something bizarre 👀 A trip to our store will most definitely give you your fix 👍

🦈🦈 Saturday snacks for the sharks 🦈🦈 These two beauties are quite the crowd pleasers at Kraken when it comes to feeding time 💯%

We weren't lying when we said we had some Monster Maroon clownfish this week 😱😱 Just look at the size of that Mother and her fella all the way from Manila, Philippines 🇵🇭 We have a handful of pairs still available too and we dont shut until 4pm today 👌 These have to be seen in person so why not pop in and have a butchers 👀😬

When it comes to the Kraken team, it's not only Michael who has a big appetite 😂😂 Our Epaulette shark is now polishing off around 15 lancefish in a sitting 🐟🐟 😱 She has certainly put on some timber in the time she has been here 💯% The lads instore are busy cleaning and making space today, for a BIG! coral shipment arriving later 🪸🪸🪸 Keep your eyes peeled for pics of some stunning new stuff including Hammer gardens, Jumbo Acros, assorted torches, gonis and lots more 👀👌
