It’s been reading 24c here where I am today. So it was a walk early morning then another this evening. I don’t have high risk dogs, but still at this temperature it is a risk. I love my dogs dearly so I won’t be putting them at risk.

Don’t forget to get your new year grooms booked in!

Remember it’s so important to keep on top of regular grooming which is why I always recommend you book every 6-8 weeks, and if you’d rather leave all the grooming to me because your too busy then you can book in for every 4 weeks and alternate bathing and full grooming every 4!

It’s not only recommended to maintain your dogs coat and prevent them getting matted and uncomfortable. It’s also good for their skin health and keeping them clean. Especially if they struggle with skin problems!

I saw this on another groomers page and I was hesitant to put it on mine as I feel it is very to the point, but I feel that it’s important for everyone to understand why I take no-show appointments and late cancellation’s so personally.

I understand sometimes people just forget or life gets in the way, however this is the impact it has on my small business. I couldn’t have worded it better myself. I don’t wish to come across negative or like I’m telling people off, as I know so many of my lovely loyal customers don’t do this and if they do cancel they give plenty of notice. However there are some people who don’t.

Just please bear this in mind next time you book your dog in and have no intentions to turn up. It has more impact than you may think.
I am forever grateful for the support and how thriving my little business is.

As of January 2024 I will be implementing a small price increase. The reason for this is the ever growing prices of my products and the maintenance of my equipment and general upkeep ie. water & electric.

FLEAS!!

If you suspect that your dog may have fleas please let me know prior to the appointment!

I can still groom your dog even with fleas but I need to know prior to the appointment so that I can move you to the end of the day.

I can give your dog a flea bath which will be an extra £5 on top of your grooming price.

If you fail to let me know prior it will be an extra £10 on top of the groom price, as failing to let me know means the rest of the dogs booked after you have to be cancelled to avoid cross contamination to other dogs! Which means a loss of earnings for me. As I have to allow enough time to clean everything and flea bomb my room.

Please always check your dogs prior to grooming as I’ve had allot of dogs coming in recently with fleas!
