Bidford Bridge is shut, Barton Road has flooded and will be shut for two weeks from Monday 30th September. It’s like living on an island here at the moment!

The field is well drained and we’re hoping to get one last cut in before winter and the dark nights.

Happy holidays everyone, we hope you all have a great weekend. 🐣
Just to say that we were hoping to open again in Monday 1st April, but this constant rain has saturated the ground even more and we need a dry spell so that the field is pleasant to walk.
Hoping now for Monday 8th April, weather permitting.

Good morning
I was hoping to reopen the field by next Monday but after overnight rain and the forecast for the next few days for more rain it will have to remain closed. I will contact anyone who has made bookings for next week. I’m sorry for any inconvenience.

Hi everyone
Having checked the field again, it’s still very wet. I’m sorry to have to keep it closed a bit longer. we need a dry spell to stop it becoming a muddy mess, which will take longer to recover. Hope you can understand this hard decision and thanks for your support.

Good morning, another wet day and more rain forecast. I will be closing the field after today for a few days to let it drain, otherwise it’s going to be a mud bath. Hope to reopen on Saturday. Apologies for inconvenience.

Bidford bridge has been closed due to flooding again and Barton road is blocked too. If anyone needs to reschedule please message me.
I’m monitoring the state of the field as I may need to close it again for a few days to recover.

Good morning everyone. I’ve just done a check of the field and I’m going to have to close it for a few days as it’s becoming a soggy mud bath now. Hard decision and I don’t want to let anyone down but it needs to drain and dry a bit now. Hope you all understand and bear with me. Hopefully this dreadful weather is changing this week. 🐶💦🤞
