STICKS - Please please read 🤍

Over the weekend one of my clients had a freak accident involving a stick. The stick was thrown for the dog and instead on landing horizontally, the dog caught it vertically down his throat. Obviously this caused trauma, a expensive vet trip and unneeded stress for the dog and the owner.

Throwing sticks is something most dog owners just do and not think about as it’s part of having a dog, however it is something that can have catastrophic effects and needs to be advertised how dangerous it can actually be. In this case the dog was very lucky and on the road to recovery after vet treatment and a load of pain killers.

If you and your dog enjoy this type of activity, vets recommend using more safer alternatives such as dog-friendly frisbees, rubber sticks and suitable sized balls.

So all I’m saying from me and the pooch’s owner is to please please be careful. Don’t throw sticks and save injury to your dog by buying safe and suitable toys instead 🤍

Lost dog! 🐶

This lovely girl was found wandering Franklin road in Aldeburgh. She is a medium sized spaniel mix.

We are trying to contact her owner and the dog warden has been informed.

Please contact the practice if she is yours, or you know who she may belong to!

Proof of ownership will be required ✅

Let’s get her home!💙

At Licks & Kisses Dog Grooming I understand that life can sometimes get in the way and that appointments can get forgotten, which is why I send you a text message reminder of your appointment at least 48 hours before you are due.

Cancellations under 24 hours notice will result in a cancellation fee. No shows to an appointment will be charged a full grooming fee.

As a small business I unfortunately cannot afford to lose out on income for these appointments. So please let me know in plenty of time if you can’t make it.

Welcome to Licks & Kisses Dog Grooming!

I’m Ellie, and along with my pooch Honey I’ve decided to open my own Dog Grooming Salon! I started my Dog Grooming journey 4 years ago and am Level 3 qualified. I also have qualifications in Pet first aid, so I know exactly what to do if your pooches are in need.

My salon will be one-to-one, so perfect for dogs who may be anxious and find the grooming process easier when they are on their own.

I will be offering a range of services from full grooms, bath & tidies, nail clipping and puppy grooms!

Hey Everyone! Just a reminder I’m off for 2 weeks in May for my wedding. Last working day is 4th May and then I return to work on the 20th May. A lot of rebooks are now falling around this time.. if your dog is in a regular 6-8 weeks schedule please get these booked in (if you haven’t already) as this is the week before i’m off. I’m also getting busy the week I come back to work so if you’d like to get these booked in also that would be a great help. Thank you!🤍
