We are Hiring!
Due to expansion, we are looking to take on a new staff member. Experience with horses is a must, competent at handling youngstock and fit competition horses. The right candidate must be able to turnout to a high standard and have good communication skills, as well as an attention to detail. This role will also include to use of machinery and to the right person, the chance to exercise some horses. As we are a rehabilitation centre, as well as training and breeding facility, you will also be required to work alongside veterinary staff. All general yard duties involved and the ability to progress. Attending competitions is also available. This role is split over morning and afternoon shifts. On behalf of a client Greorge is looking for a new 🏡
He is a 16h, 14year old Tobiano Cob Gelding. CHAPS Registered. George requires someone who is confident. He is a straightforward ride but wouldn't suit a complete novice as he can sometimes test his rider if they are not confident. Goes well on the flat and responsive off the leg. Happy to pop a fence and is honest. Hacks out alone and in company. He is an enjoyable ride. Loads, goes out with mares and geldings, currently shod but can go barefoot. Up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth and feet. Lives in or out. The right home is priority for this friendly lad.

Our lovely grazing liveries enjoying their dinner. One has recently undergone treatment for severe gastric ulcers. Thanks to correct medication, help from our vet and the right management he now has the all clear.
