Morning everyone!

As all my clients are aware I released my November and December availability a couple of days ago. I really appreciate how quickly my appointment slots have been taken 🙈 but just a gentle reminder, the appointment is only secured if deposits are paid within 24 hours of confirmation.

I have decided to post them on here so I can update every few days for you all, as I have a high demand of messages, please allow up to 48 hours for me to respond. This gives me the chance to get round to all my messages in order and update my availability ! I’m trying my best 🫶 thank you for keeping me so busy!!

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to share a few changes and adjustments to my policy, as I have had an increase in issues lately. I am self-employed and dog grooming is my only income, I rely on your customs to allow me to pay for my bills and to run the parlour so I can continue to groom your gorgeous pooches. Please be mindful, cancellations and no shows can have such a huge affect on a small business and it’s very unfair on us as business owners to have to put up with.

With this being said I have become a little more strict with my policy to avoid loss of income and any further issues in the future for my small business. Please take your time to read below and understand the terms and conditions I have had to put in place.

Hello everyone ! I just wanted to make a post on Fleas! I cannot stress enough about how important it is to check your dogs coats, especially this time of year, for fleas or any signs of flea dirt. I have had a dog come in today who was covered in fleas and flea dirt. Unfortunately this wasn’t noticeable at first, and I didn’t see them until I started to clip off some of her coat… this was when they all started to appear and started jumping off her. Unfortunately this has resulted in me having to close the parlour down for a short while, as I now have a flea infestation and I need to get this issue sorted before even thinking about bringing another dog into this parlour. We as dog groomers are very understanding people, we know these things can happen, we all hate fleas purely because of how much discomfort it causes a dog, and how awful they are to get rid off, but unfortunately it’s one of them natural things that happen in dealing with animals. Flea treatments are great and majority of them do the job, but some do not always work the way they should, so just from as simple as checking our dogs coats daily, we can prevent issues like these. Personally, hygiene in the grooming parlour is everything to me, as we all know dogs can carry all sorts of things. Keeping the parlour clean and up to high standards at all times is so important, to reduce the risk of passing anything on to other dogs. I am very particular about this, and I cannot explain how important this is to me! The knock on affects us as groomers have just from having a dog that has fleas in the parlour: Firstly, we have to flea bomb the place and sometimes several times, depending on the infestation, then air out the parlour to get rid of all the fumes, and then give the parlour a deep clean to avoid the risk of them passing on to other dogs. This can take many hours at times but again hygiene is the most important thing in a grooming parlour so it’s very much needed. This a
