Our first harvest of honey after starting to keep bees two years ago. We’ve definitely learnt a lot on the way, suffered a few stings, got covered in honey and mostly felt at the mercy of the bees but it’s all worth it for a few little jars of golden goodness... one of which we ate within about 10 minutes 🤤 @ Rose Cottage Smallholding

Our bees are going wild at the moment! We’re through the June gap and they’ve really started to build up their stores. In the last 2 weeks, they’ve added around 10KG of nectar to the hive! Luckily planted our garden up with loads of beautiful cut flowers for the girls 😊

Rootling n snoootling. The landscape gardening team are really making progress in this wet weather! We’re using this group of piglets to turn over a patch of the field that has turned mostly to moss.. haven’t quite decided what happens with it then.... bigger veg garden? Wildflowers for the bees? Mix of grass for the sheep? Or just let nature take over and see what happens..? 🤔

Our new piglets are quite the cheeky characters! We’ve put them on a patch of wildflowers in the corner of the sheep field and they’re having a lovely time grazing on them all, they’re only slightly scared by the sheep.... oh and they love a bath! 🛁 @ Surrey
