Let’s get technical - how does it work?
Once AlvaBarrier is applied it forms a protective film on the surface of the coat, while still allowing the skin to “breathe”. Oxygen, nitrogen, and other nutrients can still pass through the film. However, it does not allow water to pass through, which is an ideal quality for preventing dry, dehydrated skin.
A winter favourite, especially if you want to protect feathers.
☆How to use
Brush off and remove as much mud and dirt as possible then apply AlvaBarrier, continue regularly for the first week and then as often as required depending on the weather and ground conditions.

A very effective all over fly spray containing essential oils creates a zone immediately around the horse, the essential oils evaporate off the animal during the day creating the ‘zone’ as the more chemical based products stay on the coat and only on contact do the flies get repelled.
AlvaShield contains eucalyptus, citronella substitute, Aloe Vera, limonene which also has the added benefit of releasing stress too.
