Massive thank you to everyone for the windfall apples, the animals love them! 🍎 🍏

A local gardener kindly gifted us with a couple of trays worth of carrots, which gave us the idea for this post, all the animals will eat fruit and veg so if anybody has an allotment or grows their own fruit and veg that they’ve got spare amounts and wondering what to do with it the animals would be very grateful! 🥕 🥦 🥬

We’re not a ”rescue” but a lot of our animals have come from homes that wasn’t quite adequate for their needs or people have needed a home asap due to change in circumstances, we’re now giving them a loving, forever home 💚

Please share with family and friends who are keen gardeners 🧑🏼‍🌾👩🏼‍🌾

It’s that time of year where all the fruit is falling off the trees, fallen fruit is called “windfall”

Most of our animals here (some are pictured below) love the fruit that falls from British trees so if you have any windfall fruit the animals would be very grateful

You’re more than welcome to come down and view/fuss the animals and feed some of your picked fruit too just give us a message

We’re just outside of Alford but could possibly collect for large amounts
