Apologies to this fabulous chap and his wonderful owners this techno dinasaur is so very late with posting our beautiful dog of the month 😬..
❤️ Pablo has an amazing story and has come so far told by his lovely owners .... ❤️
In 2021 we decided to expand our family and adopted a pocket bully puppy called Diesel. He was the best boy ever, he had the most incredible life which is what Pablo’s mums owner saw and he asked if we could take another puppy on too as he saw how happy Diesel was with us.
So, in early 2022 we decided to expand our family a little more with Pablo, a staffy cross from a litter of two puppies. Unfortunately a year later Diesel took very poorly and started to attack Pablo randomly at times.
After numerous behaviourist, trainers and vet visits , it was discovered that Diesel had a very poorly brain, we had to make the hardest decision we had ever made in our lives, we lost Diesel.
From then we knew we had to really work on Pablo, as his confidence was at an all time low.
He had to be next to one of us at all times, and heaven forbid another human or dog tried to say hello to him in public he would literally hide between our legs.
It has taken us nearly a year working on Pablo and we couldn’t be more proud.
Huttoft Hounds have aided his confidence growth in so many ways, from Pablo not wanting to explore without one of us walking with him to now being excited every time we mention the word “field”.
He adores the doggy beach and is so nearly swimming let alone jumping over the tyres with ease, when only a year ago he was scared of his own shadow.

🌞 We've had a lovely weekend with lots of visitors and the pawsome pals who have had a great time but thankfully avoided the hottest times of the day 🌞🥵

🐾Our Huttoft Hounds 1st Doggie of the month 🐾
This gorgeous picture of Debra Oakes and her grand-dog Oreo stole our hearts with this beautiful picture taken by his lovely owner Emily Ferrier.
There is clearly a great bond between these 2 🥰
A note from Dogmother Emily... So he’s Oreo, he’s a lurcher (collie x greyhound x saluki). We rehomed him back in November 2023. He’s 6 years old and honestly loved being in the field so much, it was his first proper sense of freedom he could have!! No fear of other dogs, or running off, just pure happiness and freedom!
🥰 We think this gorgeous boy has definitely landed on his paws after being rehomed to this great family. I hope he enjoys being Huttoft Hounds 1st Dog of the month and we look forward to welcoming them all back soon where there will be a little treat waiting for you 🎊🐕 🐾🥰 x
