GRASS SEEDS 🐾🍃

During this time of year we see an influx of patients with grass seeds, here’s all you need to know:

👉Why do they cause problems for our dogs?

They become easily attached to our dogs fur and burrow their way into their skin, causing pain and discomfort 😣

👉Which areas are affected?

The most commonly affected areas are the paws and ears 🐾👂

👉Signs your dog may have a grass seed:

- Shaking their head
- Licking their paws
- Looking uncomfortable
- Feeling lethargic

Here at Barkers we understand the importance of good positive puppy grooms but also the importance of comfort when a dog gets on in years . That is why we have invested In many harnesses that can help the dogs with bad joints or just those that are struggling to stand due to age 🥰🐶❤️
Mollie has done so well today and at 14 and a half years young she’s has needed a little extra support ❤️❤️❤️

Today we got chatting to a man that was parked outside our shop getting his dog out . After a brief conversation we learned that the dog was famous ❤️❤️❤️ . She was suki and she saved her owners life . I truly love my job and spending time with dogs and doggy people 🐶❤️
