Goodnight Cracker. I love my job, but this is the hardest part.
Cracker was a 17 Yr old young gentleman.
His mum and dad sent me some beautiful flowers from their garden and a photo to remember him by.
God bless you Cracker 💔💔

Huge congratulations to Zoe and Ko who have made their first and VERY successful partnership appearance at Crufts today.👏👏
Ko had a lameness on his left back leg and came to me for canine massage and laser treatment. He also had hydrotherapy so Zoe was covering all bases and it really worked, (they all work well together) leading to 2 best in class rosettes and NO lameness.
He is sooo handsome!

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish all my clients both four legged and two legged the very best wishes for Christmas and the coming New Year...and introduce the addition to Pain Relief Derbyshire and The Clinical Canine Therapist

As you can see Rudolph is having a pre "event" session of photobiomodulation treatment with my
British made Omega Low Level Light Therapy Laser machine.
Laser treatment will be used in conjunction with MFR after the big day tomorrow to help rehabilitate both the Reindeer team and Santa with their RSI, any potential sprains and strains, wounds, and of course to help break up those inevitable knots or trigger points.
This high tech but holistic and safe therapeutic addition to both my canine and human clients is proving very effective
I'll be posting more about it, how it works and the conditions it can help with in the New Year.
In the meantime I wish you all a very Merry
Christmas!!

🐾🐾Charlie is ready with his sunscreen and water and hat ready to welcome you to the Ashover Show! Come along and say hello😀
It's going to be a warm one, so I believe the dog events have been moved forward to this morning 11 am I think. However, maybe wise to leave your pooch at home in the cool today.
Still come and see me, always happy to have a chat about your dogs AND your aches and pains 👋👋

This is the gorgeous 9 year old Tilly.
Tilly had a very poor start in life, kept in a cage too small for her, in an abusive household. Never exercised.
She doesn't like men or stressful situations. Being a wee little girl she has also been set on by other dogs.
We had our first session on Friday and I spent a lot of time gaining her trust. She relaxed so much as far as she could...(because she has to keep her humans protected you know)
I'm so looking forward to seeing her again to address some more trigger points along her back that are causing her some pain.
Highly recommend vet Catherine Williams at
for spotting the signs of muscular dysfunction in Tilly.

Highlight of the day for me, this Spaniel making the most of my paddling pool to get himself completely immersed in some cooling water.
TBH I was PLEASED I didn't get many pooches visiting today. It was too hot. Good to chat to the owners who left their dogs home in the cool though or just brought them for a quick visit like this chap

Set up complete with pooch paddling pool, and fan at The Hurt Arms Ambergate.
Be very very careful with your pooches in his heat.
Heatstroke kills. By all means come for a chat but maybe leave any susceptible doggos home with a fan blowing and the curtains closed.
