Hello everyone,

I’d like to let you know that I will be closing my company at the beginning of September as I now have a full time job.

I’ve had such an amazing time getting to know my clients and their pets. I will definitely miss working with all the families and their animals.

Unfortunately I will not be taking anymore new bookings for dog walking and pet sitting during this time due to my work commitments.

I will however be dog sitting those clients who have already booked in with me.

It’s been an absolute pleasure and thank you so much.

Waking up to this heartbreaking news. Forever a star and a wonderful entertainer and of course a lover of dogs and animals. Thinking of his family today 💔

I like to think that the dogs of rainbow bridge, will be lining up to greet the wonderful Paul O’Grady today. Waiting to welcome a beautiful man who did so much good for their kind. I like to think he will be rolling around with dogs he lost, dogs he saved and dogs who simply heard of his kindness. Covered in fluff, smothered in kisses and loved, loved loved.

Thank you for making us laugh till we cried and for making a true difference this side.
You will be missed, never forgotten and always loved.

Rest in peace wonderful man.

It’s been a cold week for dog walking but that hasn’t stopped us from going out. Button even joined me for a walk this week with one of the dogs I walk. They get along great!

It’s been nice to get back to walking some of my clients dogs after the Christmas break. The weather hasn’t been that great this week so I’ve been wearing waterproofs and making sure that the dogs have their coats on too when it has been raining.

Yesterday was the first time that me and this lovely lady went out for a walk. She was so excited to see me when I arrived and enjoyed our first walk together with some treats after for being a good girl🐾🐶

With the temperatures dropping please take care when walking your dog. If it’s too cold for you and your dog to be out because of the conditions then don’t risk walking your pooches ☺️

Wait until it’s later on in the day when it’s slightly warmer to go out for a walk 🐾

Been dog walking and dog sitting these gorgeous dogs over the last few months. It’s been nice to see and spend time with them. 🐾🐶

Unfortunately there appears to be a kennel cough outbreak doing the rounds. Please note as far as we are aware NO Poppy and Pals Pet Care Ltd poochies have it.

Kennel cough is highly contagious and although most dogs are only poorly for a few weeks older and younger dogs can really suffer. Please don't risk other dogs if you think your dog maybe poorly.

A few weeks ago I Dog sat this lovely man. He’s very old so needed some extra cuddles and love and attention. He’s such a sweet dog! Staffies are gorgeous dogs and I really enjoyed looking after him ❤️☺️

I recently dog sat this lovely girl for the week whilst her owners were away. She’s such a fun dog and loves her cuddles! She’s only young so she is full of spirit but she was a joy to look after ☺️🐾🐶

Cat sitting is a new service I have been offering for a little while.
I recently looked after these gorgeous cats whilst their owners were away. They were lovely and always greeted me as I walked into the house (mainly because they wanted food🙈) I also had plenty of kitten cuddles 🥰 🐱

For the last 10 days I have been dog sitting these two beautiful but cheeky dogs for the first time. They’ve been very good and even had some treats as it was one of their birthdays whilst I was here. Will definitely miss their company!

As the weather is heating up please do not walk your dog in the midday heat or when temperatures are above 20 degrees!!

Walk your dog in the early hours of the morning whilst it’s cooler or late at night.
A missed walk won’t matter as it saves your dogs life!

If the pavement is too hot then it will burn your dogs paws.

I have stopped all my dog walking and changed to day visits instead.

Please do not risk your dog overheating or collapsing because you decided to walk them in this heat!

There is a dog show on at Maidstone Market building on Saturday from 10-3.

I will be there with my dog button having a look around and getting stuck in to the agility and dog show.

A few photos of the dogs I’ve been sitting and walking over the last few weeks, along with a new little addition.
As the weather has been warmer I’ve been either staying with the dogs at their homes, walking them in the shade or doing shorter walks in the cooler weather.

It’s important that the dogs don’t get too hot so I’ve also been making sure that their water bowls are filled up with fresh water before I leave.

I’ve started walking this beautiful girl 3 times a week. She’s such a sweetheart and so gentle. We enjoy plodding along to the nearest park for a little walk and then back home again ☺️🐾🐶

I enjoyed looking after these two lovely boys over the weekend. We went on some beautiful walks in the countryside where they could run and sniff to their hearts content. They were definitely pooped after their walks. ❤️🐾🐶

This consists of going into the house, feeding, checking litter trays, making sure the cats are okay and general security of the house whilst the owner is away on holiday.

I dog sat my aunt and uncles dog this week whilst they were away. My dog Button joined us as she gets on well with him.

I dog sat these lovely boys over the Easter break. As you can see they’re definitely comfortable. They loved a cuddle and also time to relax in the sun. I’ve had a lot of fun dog sitting these and will definitely miss them! 🐶

I’ve been walking this lovely boy 3 times a week since last year. He’s an old gentleman and despite him struggling with walking, sight and hearing he does his best! He’s also such a softie ❤️

He doesn’t really like going for a walk as he prefers to be at home snuggled on the sofa and I can struggle getting him away from the house sometimes. I decided to start putting him in the car and taking him to local places just down the road for him to have a sniff and wander in a different place other than the same walks we normally do whether it be a park or just a walk around a different part of Allington.

I think he is enjoying going to different places to walk that he doesn’t normally go to. Even if it is just once a week.
