Scottish Thistle Pedigree Whippet Racing Club Our Club meets weekly (during the season April - October every Sunday from 12 noon - Inch Farm Ki

Whippets race every SundayTrials for any dog are run in between the racing and after racing.We also train young puppies from 6 months upwards to get them used to the lure and by the time they are a year old they are more than ready to race. We hold a Scottish derby each year where our friends from down South come up to Scotland with their Super racing dogs and all compete together.

As agreed at our AGM and in accordance with NPWRA rules when a dog reaches the age of nine years they must retire from racing and trailing at the club,

After some discussion the Executive have agreed that the recipient of this year's charity day will be Fife Greyhound Rescue, we are sure you will all agree it's a worthy cause, once again we have no doubt our members and friends will support us when the time comes,

Hi folks,
At our AGM on Sunday and for our sins the full Committee were reelected with no changes,

Memberships remain at £20 payable anytime now, bank details attached,

As most of our dogs fell into the all colours category it was agreed to drop the blue, black and all colours cups, the current recipients of these cups can keep them for life,

Also attached is the proposed race calendar and as per usual it is subject to change depending on circumstances,

Well after a longer than expected stay at Donna's for treatment and lots of tender loving care Thistle and Lacey are now in their new homes, Thistle is in Glasgow and Lacey is in Boness, their new owners are delighted to have them and look forward to giving them a long and happy life, well done to everyone involved,
