First of all I want to say, thank you to each and every one of my lovely loyal clients and their furry friends 🐾.

Sorry for this negative post on a Friday but over the past week I have had two no shows, normally never happens but lately I have been in a position to take on new clients, two of whom this week haven’t turned up despite a confirmation message and a reminder message the day before their appointment. As a small business this is detrimental to me and the business. I am turning away potential new customers and can’t accommodate others. This time of year is particularly crazy for us groomers and as it stands I have four appointments left from now until Christmas so to have slots wasted is frustrating.

I just want to reiterate my cancellation/no show policy:

I need a minimum of 24 hours cancellation/ rescheduling notice otherwise there is a charge of 50% of the service you have booked in for.

No shows will result in me charging 100% of the service as I don’t have time to fill.

Refusal to pay for missed appointments will result in all future appointments being removed.

I really don’t like having to post these and honestly it usually isn’t an issue I have.. everybody is brilliant but I’m £120 down this week which is a massive loss for a small business.

As always.. so much appreciation for everyone that supports us 🫶🏻🫶🏻.
