Hi all!

I wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who's booked in with me this year. I only have a few dates left in November if you're planning a weekend away or perhaps a day trip somewhere!

Otherwise, I am accepting bookings for 2025 too. As always, I take my enquiries through my emails at [email protected].

Whilst I'm not as active on Facebook (as I am comically bad at social media ahaha) you can follow me on instagram for more regular doggy posting!

AVAILABILITY UPDATE ~

Hi all!

I hope you've all enjoyed the sunny spell we've had, just popping in with a quick update for my availability in 2024. Currently I am fully booked for June/August/September, with limited availability in July.

2024 BOOKINGS -

Hello all! I hope your 2024 has got off to a good start!

Just a reminder that my books are open for 2024. Currently I have limited availability in April and June so be sure to book sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment!

I'm still arranging all bookings via email ([email protected]), if you could include as much info as possible in your enquiry that would help me out immensely!

For example:
"Hello, do you have availability for the XXth to the XXnd of March? I'm based in Amble and you'd be looking after my dog Fred, a 7 year old male greyhound. He walks well on lead but dislikes all other dogs and will bark and lunge. He also requires medication twice per day that he will take with some ham. He can be left for up to two hours."

This just helps me ensure I'm taking on dogs that are suitable for me -- I wish I could take on every dog but if you have a large breed dog that pulls heavily on lead, for example, I imagine they'd end up taking care of me instead!

Due to popular demand... 😝

I'll be taking on a handful of one-on-one dog walking clients this year! This includes solo walks and "household" dog walking, where I will walk multiple dogs from the same household.
This is perfect for anyone with dogs who cannot/prefer not to be walked with other dogs, including reactive dogs!

(I'll still be accepting dog-sitting bookings during this time, which always include time for 3 walks per day, but unfortunately I'll only be able to take on dogs that are comfortable being left for periods at a time.)

Currently I'll only be accepting clients within Alnwick though if there is the demand from surrounding towns then that may be subject to change!

Before you book:
- Dog walks are £10 per hour, per dog. If for any reason the walk does not last that long or it would be irresponsible to continue (such as in the excessive heat we've been having!) I am happy to play with the dog(s) indoors/in the garden and otherwise entertain/excercise them for the alloted time.

- At this time I cannot accept dogs who are excessively strong on lead.

- In the case of multidog households, I will only walk a max of 2-3 small/medium dogs and 2 large dogs. If you have a mix of sizes the two dog limit will likely apply 👍

- Reactive dogs must be walked on harness when with me. If you don't own a harness or don't wish to buy one I am happy to bring my own but this must be made known to me so they can be properly fitted beforehand.

- Outside of dog sitting, I don't work Sundays.

- If you have any concerns, a free consultation can be arranged so we can meet face-to-face and assess the needs of you and your dog and whether they will be comfortable in my care.

[I have two vacations planned this year, from July 13th-July 23nd and the last two weeks of September (dates to be confirmed) so I will be unable to walk your dog(s) during this time]

In-house dog sitting allows you and your dog(s) to negate the potential stress of kennels and instead have your dog(s) be cared for in the comfort of your own home!

This is ideal for dogs who may not cope well in kennels, don't mix with other dogs, are worried when left home alone or have never been left home alone, or simply prefer their own space and dislike change in their routine.

I'm insured, DBS checked, dog first-aid trained and I have background knowledge in dog training.
