MEET & GREET BOOKED This little girl is looking for a very special home. She bonds very tightly with her chosen person so we are looking for a single person home - she doesnt mind a male or a female -with no other pets and no children. She s about 2 years old vaccinated and neutered and gets on fine with people and dogs she meets out an about .She s at the rescue here in Alston PLEASE PM THE PAGE AS WE DO NOT ALWAYS SEE POSTS UNDERNEATH.

Unfortunately none of these ones are suitable for rehoming around young children

We have 3 Shepherds in
Leo the black guy is just 2 he is a big strong lad but with a gentle side
He has been waiting ages with no interest
He needs an owner with Gsd experience and someone willing to put the time in
Creed is just turned a year he isn’t great with other dogs and again needs someone with experience willing to put the time in also been here ages
Athena the long haired bitch is in foster up near Creetown again needs basic training and is a big strong bitch fine with other dogs

None of these 3 can go with young children due to their size and need of training as very bouncy

So the last post for dogs that have been waiting ages for new homes was really good and Two out of three of them found homes 😊
So let’s try again for the third boy
This lad is a Husky cross and very Husky in nature
He is very loving once he bonds with you
Has all the Husky traits but smaller in size about collie size
He would do amazing with a single person with breed experience
He was born Nov 2020

NOW ADOPTED :) Today saw this little lady at the vets
A mouthful of rotten teeth meant she lost 23 of them today 😞
Hopefully once it heals she will feel a lot better, be a lot more comfortable and can find a home to call her own
For now plenty of rest and pain relief
Doris is a 6 year old Daxy girl

Kim Holden is one of our kitten/cat adoption coordinators and her wonderful daughter Edie raised a massive £380 for the rescue by doing a sponsored run - Thank you so much Edie it was a brilliant achievement :)

Can anyone spare a pound please
Hate asking but we have had quite a few expensive dogs / cats recently
This kitten was trapped a couple of months ago with a foot missing
It was healed and we thought she would be ok but it soon became clear that she was going to need her leg amputated to have a normal life
So yesterday she underwent her surgery and came through well 😊
For a kitten that was feral she was being carried round in the vets purring her head off after her op !
She is now back in her foster home to recover properly
But if anyone could just donate a pound each this would go a long way to help towards her vet bill

Ok so this is Jasper although a lot of you will have already met him 😊
He is not available for rehoming as he is my foster dog
Jasper is pallative care as he has a serious heart condition he has already had heart scans and nothing can be done
We don’t know how long he has with us but hopefully he will enjoy life as much as possible
He has no idea he is so poorly though x
Will keep you all updated with his progress and he now becomes an honorary collie in my house 😊
