🦔 This young hedgehog was admitted to HART after she was found out during the day which is our most common reason for admission for hedgehogs. Hedgehogs are nocturnal so to be seen out during the day is a reliable indicator that there is something wrong with them. This youngster is no exception and she is suffering from a very high parasite burden which she is currently receiving treatment for. Please keep your fingers crossed for a full recovery!

❤️ We're currently in need of Vetericyn wound spray and Royal Canin puppy milk. If you can help, please consider purchasing much needed items off our Amazon wishlist. We're incredibly grateful for your continued support!

They’re being hand-reared by Olivia, one of our experienced wildlife carers, and are doing well. Once independent, they will be released back to the wild!
