**OCTOBER SHOW CANCELLED**

😞
We are so so sorry to have to do this again, we absolutely hate cancelling shows unless absolutely necessary.

Unfortunately, we have a case of respiratory EHV on the yard, and as a precaution the vets have advised the yard is locked down for two weeks with no movement of horses on or off. This means we are unable to run our October dressage competition.

We appreciate this will be disappointing and we will issue refunds in the next few days - but horse and human health & safety is always our top priority.

I’ll try not to eat all the Halloween candy and save it for November!

For those of you brave enough to leave the ground…. some showjumping!

‼️LAST chance to qualify for Sweat Meadow Unaffiliated Show Jumping Championships held at Aintree International Equestrian Centre ‼️

We're running incredibly low on entries to the point where it's not even feasible to go ahead with the competition. This show is also one of the last competitions, across the country, to hold one of these qualifying shows, so it's not be missed!

Classes range from 50cm to 90cm, split Juniors and Seniors. Placed up to 6th with prize money (classes have to have 6+ in), we have our own points system where end of season winners could potentially win heaps of prizes at our championship show in September!

**JULY SHOW CANCELLED**

Due to strangles in the local area (NOT on Dairyhouse!!), our July dressage show will not go ahead as scheduled for biosecurity reasons.

We are very sorry for any disappointment and inconvenience this may cause.

There are width restrictions approaching the yard which not all vehicles will fit through.

Unfortunately our steward is poorly so the warmup is unmanned. Please check your times carefully and ensure you are at the competition arena promptly.

**2nd Round Times**

I've tried my absolute best to try and meet everyone's requests but there was an unprecedented amount and just couldn't fit it all how everyone wanted it, I'm really sorry, but I've tried to minimise waiting times and meet preferences wherever possible.

As you can see it's a long and busy day!

Please read the HM notes carefully, especially if it's your first time visiting us at Dairyhouse, as there are width restrictions on the approach that you may need to avoid if in a larger vehicle.

Parking is on the field.
Please listen to super Camille the warm-up steward and make sure you are up by the dressage arena at least 2mins before your time. Remember that you should be going down the centre line at your time, so you do need to be here before it!

If you are a Trailblazers 2nd round letter holder, please let us know for qualification purposes.

If you are intending to do both first and second rounds on Sunday, please do let us know too!

Calling services may be limited unless already pre-booked so if you can rope in a friend or passerby, please do! :)

Please note we unfortunately have NO catering facilities available at Dairyhouse so ensure you bring sustenance!

**TRAILBLAZERS SECOND ROUNDS**

Entries are opening very soon for our Trailblazers Championships 2nd Round competition on Sunday 9th June!

The event is available on HorseMonkey now, but entries themselves will open from 10am tomorrow morning (Tuesday 21st May).

You may notice there are a few more classes than usual! Please read this carefully to help demystify.

If you have a 2nd round card, please enter the second round class for your age and level.

If you have competed with us and scored over 58% since September, and want to purchase a 2nd round card for a chance to qualify for the finals - please get in touch - it’s not too late!

If you haven’t done a first round, the additional NON-QUALIFIER tests can be used as a first round. Please enter that AND the second round, and keep fingers crossed for the magic score.

**APRIL SHOW**

Entries open TOMORROW (Wednesday) at 8pm for our April show on the 14th.

The very EGG-CITING news is that it is everyone's favourite dressage of the year - the one where there's chocolate up for grabs - that's right, EASTER EGGS TO BE WON!!!

You may also be aware that it is the Manchester Marathon on that day, an as such there are lots of road closures in place. The A56 from city centre towards Altrincham is basically out of bounds but you can access Dairyhouse from the A56 citybound, turning left on to Sinderland Road and coming past Bramley Farm.
