Busy last 10 days trip to Cuba
Fishing Long trip from Heathrow to Milan and then to a Havana
Two days in Havana then a long trip to the coast do you mean the boat first stay aboard fishing trip I have ever done can highly recommend Great hospitality service and food was incredible
The guides were so helpful
Long days up at six breakfast at seven start fishing at eight finish at six if you ever get an opportunity this is one to take off your bucket list bone Fishing
Tarpon fishing and permit
Also catch lots of other species
It was nice to have a group of Fisherman but I have never met a change listen and be involved with other people all of them older and wiser they have all been fishing since they were Young thanks to Tony for organising such an amazing trip hope to come again
If anybody is interested in going on such a trip send me a message so we can get something arranged you Will certainly enjoy it 🎣🎣🎣

No Shooting gone fishing really nice to meet up with some old friends haven’t seen for two years Viv Nice to find out that you’ve now got the all clear also become the luckiest fisherman on the lake two of the biggest trout ever seen one rainbow weighing 19 1/2 pound One brown 16 1/2 pound after a fishin for two or three hours with nothing finally I caught into a fish and at the same time Viv hit into the big fish as usual I went for the mobile phone 1st to video my fish came off prefer Camera to Rod add three takes didn’t manage to land one Great day with Old pals Martin Brankin stev Brankin also Hannah Steve‘s daughter congratulations on your pregnancy

The end of another trial season , very fitting that we all should finish at the beautiful Estate Stowell park in Gloucestershire. Owned by Lord Vestey.
I say fitting because it shows two wonderful things that bring our field trials together on one hand you have a host that loves dogs and has been hosting trials all over the country for many years supported our Sport. And thank you to Field Trial Secretary Sally Jenkins who has put so much time and effort
like all other Field Trial Secretary into making these trials work going beyond the call of duty to secure grounds for our sport, this season has been unusual, I know that all the older trailers have enjoyed being back out meeting friends that they didn’t realise they missed hopefully next season will be good.
All we have to do is just remember why we play this game, yes we are competitive but it is because we like dogs and also the privilege to be able to go on some of the most amazing grounds and Estates in the country. Most of us come from a background that would never take us there, so for the sake of the Sport
Support it don’t kill it 🐶

Day one of our trip to Cornwall Partridge day at pawton manor partridge with the famous Wills Bros as always great banter nice hospitality good Partridge put on a lovely day nice to see you all again thanks to everybody involved for putting on such a great day see you next season
Day two Colquite manner on the pheasants in the woodland showed some very very very nice drives and one drive with extreme pheasants with the river behind colquite has certainly got it right the lodge is so homely the food exceptional hospitality fantastic and elevenses in the yert and experiences

A week ago today we were making our arrangements to go to the Cocker championship with my little dog Mickey. He has been one of the best cockers I have ever owned. Winning his novice and open qualifier and now diploma in the championship in his first season .
He was the youngest competitor in this year‘s competition, I write this with mixed emotions. We get to our hotel, meet great old friends, sit down for a drink, and I get a telephone call to say that my brother only two years older than me as sadly suddenly passed away. This
put a whole new spin on the event.
Live life you don’t know how long you’ve got,
Managed to go on
with a fuzzy head.
Enjoy the two days Ground was truly amazing and such a privilege to be able to run at Windsor Great Park the year of the Queens platinum Jubilee.
As to the competition,
all you want to do is finish, have a clean run, get out quick, but then you would love the judge to close his book so that you can hunt in this most amazing ground, I could’ve gone on forever.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Queen, the estate, all the keepers the guns and the four judges, for giving up their time to our lovely sport.
Remember we all do this because We love dogs.
It is truly amazing to see the passion and the emotion at the end when Ian took first place with the Queens dog, to see him in tears and Wendy, Carl, Gary and also myself and lots of other people. We might think our sport is dead but with the passion I saw on that day it will live on. Just remember with dedication, determination and passion anybody can be there, all walks of life, all sexes, all ages we’re all the same.
I would like to thank Ian and Wendy for breeding me such a wonderful animal, it’s a true credit to you, to give me a dog that was so easy to train, thank you

Something different I had an invitation to look at the new Ineos grenadier and also check out some fantastic Aston Martin for a spin
Very impressed with the Grenadier could fit into the gap between the old and new defender possibly take over from crew cabs
Should be able to drive and borrow later on in the year
Let me see four-wheel-drive SUV from Aston Martin
To take friends for lunch extremely comfortable and fast and noisy and £160,000
Later on in the day took out the real beast The £290,000 DBS superleggera
Had some great fun can’t really go but extremely easy to dry
Even though we could see three people in it don’t think I will be buying one no room for the dogs
Certainly get to trials quickly
