Our Year 11 prom is well underway with students and staff enjoying an incredible evening at The Alnwick Garden.

Over the past year, staff from the school have organized a series of fundraising activities and requested financial support from local businesses, to ensure that the students enjoyed an unforgettable send off.

I’m now fully booked till the end of this year 2023.

As i am at capacity i will not be able to take on any new dogs at the moment. This will be reviewed in the new year.

I’ll be booking 2024 appointments with my existing customers in the coming weeks .

Please be aware i do try to get back to everyone that calls and messages but as im at capacity it’s rather difficult to keep up .

It’s important to me to be as completely focused on your dog as possible and i love to be able to give them a flowing one to one service. This means phone calls may be missed and messages may not be replied to . I do apologise for this.

If you do need to cancel or rearrange your appointment please be aware that even though every effort will be made to re schedule your appointment within the same grooming period, it may not be possible .

Please note that 24 hours notice needs to be given for a cancelation to avoid the full fee being charged .

Yay! I’ve Moved!

Thankyou to everyone who made my first week at the new salon so enjoyable! so many well behaved little 🐶 boys and 🐶girls and some new faces as well!


I’ve been working in amble since 2017 in dog grooming and i’m ecstatic to have been invited to rent a space from Coquet Vets to continue my business . I am a huge advocate of Coquet Vets and the value they bring to our community. They have always cared for my animals with kindness and compassion.

You and the love for your dog are at the heart of my business .
Grooming is an important part of your pets well being and i love being able to support you with this. I want to continue to provide comfortable 1-2-1 practical dog grooming to suit your pets lifestyle, their coat needs and your lifestyle.

Its not a decision i have taken lightly but my prices have unavoidably had to increase due to a significant rise in operating costs, bills and equipment costs. I will continue to try to provide the best groom that i can for your dog.

Minimum charge for full grooming now starts at £35,

Cockapoos, Cocker Spaniels, Springer Spaniels full grooming start at £40

Larger dogs full grooming start at £50

These are examples and not exhaustive of every breed and type of dog .

Prices are much dependent on the dog itself , it’s coat, drying time , temperament etc so if you are unsure please ask before.

Hiya! Hope you are all well and having a lovely weekend ☀️

I’ve had a few queries about being open for business as usual. So i’m really sorry if i havnt been back in touch.

I’m extremely limited at the moment. Im only able to carry out non aesthetic grooming where the welfare of the dog is in jeopardy without grooming..

Also...the schools have been closed so supervising home schooling and basically being a waitress/chef has had to take priority recently 😍

After 8th March i will have more flexibility as the kids should be back at school 🤞

Give me a message if you are concerned and i will contact you back asap . (will sit tomorrow with hot chocolate and diary)

Please note ...

If routine grooming can be delayed without affecting the pet’s welfare until the national lockdown is eased it should be put off.

Hi 😊

I’ve had correspondence from the
Trading Standards and Animal Health Team, Business Compliance & Public Safety Unit, Housing & Public Protection Service at Northumberland County Council.

In Northumberland, they are taking the decision that it is permitted for dog groomers to operate if 'the welfare of the animal could be jeopardized' without the service. This is backed up with information published by the Canine and Feline Sector Group.

I will be open for booked appointments next week .There will be restrictions in place that need to be adhered to. This will be reviewed as the situation develops .

Hiya I hope you are all ok Thanks so much for your patience I do really appreciate this!!

I’m planning and looking forward to start working again at the end of this week. This will however be at a lower capacity than usual for several reasons one of those being childcare and another to maintain a safe level of social distance.

I will be contacting customers who were originally booked in first, then fill in spaces from then bearing in mind that priority will be given to dogs that have coats that need to be groomed to protect their welfare. Please be patient, I will contact you to arrange and find out if you still need the appointment 😊

Please bear in mind that I am on my own and have a large back log of appointments to get through.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to offer walk in nail clipping appointments or any service without bathing. I’m currently unable to take on any new customers but hopefully moving forward this will change 😊

Please understand that I will not be able to offer intensive dematting of coats. If the coat is matted then the coat will be cut short. (I know this isn't your fault)

**Only one person will be allowed to drop off and collect dogs. There will be no human access to the salon and you must stay contactable during the grooming session and drop off /collect on time**.
