Happy New Year!

Bookings for 2026 are now officially open! Go to our website, www.dapperdogweddings.com to complete a Contact Form and we'll get back to you with further information.

We will be working through enquiries received over the next week, with priority given to those already on our notification list - so keep your eyes open for our email and check your spam if you haven't received anything by end of day Friday next week.

Thanks so much for your patience - it sounds like a lot of you have been wedding planning over the festive period and of course, you'll want to get your dog care confirmed early as it's so important! We can't wait to find out more about your plans and to work with you.

Please note - Our diary is still open for 2025, but we have limited availability now so please do prioritise getting in touch with us to check our availability for your date!
We've received a lot of enquiries through in the last few days and are starting to have to turn down hopeful couples now due to availability - for your reassurance we only book one wedding in per day so we can both focus entirely on care for your dog and helping to make your day perfect.

We're now closed for our festive break and we're back in the office week commencing 6th January.

2026 Bookings open in the New Year - perfect for those romantic festive engagements! Get your enquiries in and we'll work through them when we're back in January - with priority given to those patiently waiting on the Notification List!

We'd like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who's supported the launch of our new business this year! From those who have worked with us tirelessly behind the scenes giving us support on branding, marketing and websites, to all the fabulous local venues, photographers, make up artists, caterers and other numerous wedding suppliers who have recommended our services - we've really enjoyed getting to know you all better this year and look forward to continuing to work with you in 2025. Special thanks to those who so enthusiastically got involved in our launch event, the wedding of Bonny and Oscar! We had so much fun.

Last but not least, we'd like to thank all those couples who have put their trust in us to care for their canine loved ones on their most special day - it's a huge privilege and we'd loved every minute.

After a phenomenal year for us, we're really looking forward to 2025!

Last Saturday we had the absolute pleasure of caring for this lovely dapper dog - meet Wilson 🐶

We had a couple of super adventures with Wilson and he was an total superstar being the ring-bearer at his guardians' beautiful winter wedding at the stunning Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa ❤️

This was our last wedding of what has been a phenomenal year for us (more on that in the coming weeks) and we so enjoyed being a part of the special occasion 🙏

So lovely getting to know the gorgeous Toby yesterday afternoon at our Bonding Session.

We include a Bonding Session with your dog or dogs in all our wedding dog care services and this is a compulsory part of the service as it's so important for us to get to know eachother ahead of your special day - and it's a great opportunity for you to get to meet us face to face too!

Caring for Toby will be our first wedding of 2025 and we're already looking forward to seeing him again! 🥰

We've been a little quiet here lately but don't worry, we're still here!

We had a sneaky week off and then we've been super busy answering enquiries, meeting you on Discovery Calls and generally getting excited about all the lovely wedding dogs we are going to get to meet next year!

What a wonderful day we had with the gorgeous Otto last week 🐶 on what was a perfect Autumn day in the Lakes!

Here Otto is having a little practise posing before taking part in the photos with his very lovely guardians at the beautiful Cote How.

As you can see he didn't really need a practise - he was an absolute natural and we can't wait to see the professional photos because there will be some amazing mementos of Otto being part of such a special day for his family.

So lovely to meet you all and so grateful to have been a part of such a beautiful occasion 💕

Meet Stanley 🐶

It was such great fun caring for this lovely boy on Saturday while his guardians tied the knot at the beautiful Broadoaks Country House.

The weather was stunning and as you can see, Stanley was such a top dog at the venue, and posed for photographs like a superstar!

Either side we had some super adventures with him on our local trails and Stanley was all smiles all day 😍

Meet Teddy 🐶

What an absolute stunner!

Teddy made the best Dapper Dog yesterday at his pawrents' wedding - although he was quite excited to be a part of proceedings and to fulfil his role, he pulled it off and did so very well! ❤️

We enjoyed a lovely adventure at Brotherswater and he has some peaceful chill time back at our home before heading back to his family later in the evening.

Congratulations to the happy couple and it was super to get to know your gorgeous boy! 🥂

We had the pleasure of es**rting these two lovelies, Rogue and Logan, to their guardians' wedding here in Ambleside at the weekend!

They were absolute superstars, waiting patiently outside the church until it was time to perform their very important role as ring bearers.

They then chilled out until the guests came out so they could be a part of some photos and we also took them to the reception nearby for more photos.

So they had a packed day but we still managed a lovely local mini adventure with them in the morning - safe to say they slept the evening contentedly away! 😴

It was really lovely to get to know these two, we loved caring for them - a congratulations of course to their mum and dad!

It was a real honour to es**rt the gorgeous Milo to his guardians' wedding on Sunday at the stunning Armathwaite Hall.

Milo had the important role of ring-bearer and he carried it off in absolutely style, taking everything in his stride - so proud of him! What an awesome dapper dog 😊

We loved caring for this lovely, happy boy and having him to stay 🥰

What a lovely summer of weddings we've enjoyed, in our first year as Dapper Dog!

We've had the pleasure of caring for so many awesome dogs and meeting some fantastic couples as well, and it really is such a joy to be involved in helping to make someone's special day absolutely 'pawfect'!

We kicked off in style of course with the wedding of Bonny and Oscar as part of our launch, and that brings us onto another fantastic part of what we do - working closely with others in the wedding industry - venues, wedding planners, photographers as well as all the other local suppliers that work so hard to bring a wedding together so beautifully. It's lovely to work with you all.

So we're very much looking forward now to our upcoming September weddings! Autumn in The Lakes is stunning and what a place for your dream wedding.

We have some limited availability for the Autumn/Winter season so if you're worried about dog care for your big day it's always worth getting in touch with us to check if we can help at shorter notice.

Bookings are also coming in fast for 2025 now - with three bookings confirmed over this weekend alone, so do get in touch if you're planning for next year to check your date with us as some months are starting to look very busy!
