FAB saddle fitting

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and new year.

I’m thinking of planning some educational seminars to help horse owners learn more about saddle fit. These would be in person at a venue in Andover at a reasonable price.

Topics would include:
1. Basic horse anatomy (related to saddle fit)
2. Signs of poor saddle fit/ frequency of saddle checks
3. Width, Clearance, balance, contact, length.
4. Different styles of saddles and construction.
5. Saddle seat sizes versus horses/rider size.
6. Sitting in different saddles.

It would include some light refreshments and be about 3 hours as an introduction to saddle fit.

Well as winter approaches there will be many of our equine friends suffering with mud fever.

Does your saddle need a reflock, has it become lumpy or hard? It’s recommended to reflock every 2 years.
Why not book it in over the winter months, ready for spring comfort.
Whilst this is being done the tree can also be checked for soundness.
