We've had lots of very cute puppies coming in recently 😍

We thought we'd share this resource from DogWuf Training & Behaviour about puppy biting, it's a tough time but it's normal and doesn't last forever, it will soon all be forgotten! If you are in need of lots of treats / chews / enrichment you know where to come 😎

Goodwood chews are particularly great for puppies to get their teeth into! If they aren't initially interested try smearing something tasty onto it to get them started!

It's been an incredibly busy bank holiday supporting Bekind Rescue at The Swallowfield Show, we've made a lot of dogs very happy with ice creams, toys and treats over the 2 days, plus the tombola was great fun with some great prizes won!

Hopefully we've helped to raise some much needed funds for such a brilliant rescue who deserve every penny for the work that they put in behind the scenes to help dogs and cats in need.

We got our own Ellie through Bekind and we will be forever grateful to them for her. Their ongoing support even 3.5yrs on is outstanding. It's not a numbers game for Bekind, it's quality and kindness that is behind everything they do to ensure the dogs are provided the very best care and support throughout their lives even once they have been adopted.

We had an amazing day at The Swallowfield Show today! We'll be there again tomorrow supporting Bekind Rescue, if you need something to do for the bank holiday monday come and see us there! There is so much to see and do plus lots of entertainment and of course there is a dog show on too!

We have just unpacked a new toy delivery and we aren't sure how this guy got into the basket when we ordered but if anyone is looking for a rat dog toy then we can fulfil that wish! 😂 No one is owning up to ordering him 😂

The shop extension is now OPEN!! 🤩🎉

The new space is dedicated to wildlife, which has freed up space in the main shop for 3 more freezers so we just need to decide on some new raw brands.... 👀

Bare with us while it looks a little empty, we have several deliveries arriving this week with new stock, so we are sure it won't be long before we are struggling for space again!! 😂

It's our birthday! Wally's is 2yrs old! 🤩

Thank you to all of our wonderful customers who have supported us over the last 2yrs, it's been an exciting time with so much change since we first opened and we have so much more to come too! We've nearly finished the shop extension and we have a LOT planned for the rest of the year 👀

We have met so many amazing people and had a lot of beautiful dogs through our doors 😍 we've had some very interesting conversations, lots of laughs, and shared both happy & sad moments with some of you, we've loved getting to know you all 😁

We LOVE what we do and can't wait to see where we are in another 2yrs time! 🎉

Being "Chief Product Tester" doesn't stop at the treats... Unfortunately for Ellie that also means testing the shampoos! She had a sneaky roll in fox poo on Saturday evening so in the bath she went with the Dorwest Fox & Flea Shampoo Bar... 🫣 Here is our product review: - Lathered up very nicely - Rinsed out easily, even with her dense undercoat (she's hairier than she looks!) - She got a lovely massage with the bar and no scary noises from a squeazey bottle - She got out of the bath smelling fresh - No wet dog smell lingering as she dried! - NO PLASTIC WASTE! - NO CHEMICALS! - No dry skin for me after bathing her - She dried beautifully soft and shiny And most importantly: - This will last AGES! Despite a good lather the bar looked unused when we'd finished so there are plenty of baths left in it... Sorry Ellie! - IT WORKED ON FOX POO WITH THE FIRST RINSE!!! We are definitely converted to shampoo bars after using this Vs bottles of shampoo! It had a lovely aroma but wasn't overpowering in any way which has got to be a bonus for their sensitive noses! Plus it did what it said on the box, it easily and competently washed away the smell of fox poo!!! 🤩🎉 We couldn't find any faults with this product, highly recommend!

We LOVE our Twiggy Tags harnesses! We've tried 5 different harnesses for our own Ellie and Twiggy Tags is the first harness she's been comfortable in! We can't recommend them enough! The majority of harnesses on the market restrict shoulder movement, which can lead to early arthritis in the forelimbs, damage to the muscles and ligaments in the shoulders, as well as daily discomfort for your dog!
