Can't believe we made it to the front page 😍 Nammy is getting the recognition he deserves! Amazingly this week his full brother was also on Itv news and in a Horse and Hound article...what a week for the Darsi bloodline! They are the only two full brothers ❤️

My lovely Ted needed a stable tonight to shelter from the storm, but we are currently full up so we had to fashion something in the cross ties 🙈 Luckily Ted is as sensible as they come (when not ridden) and is used to living in houses/gardens so I don't think he even noticed it wasn't a stable. Cobs are extremely adaptable and I love them ❤️

Something a bit different, but if you have been to the yard you will have met Chris our maintenance man/my long suffering boyfriend. He has a song out today for the first time in years and it's absolutely beautiful have a listen 💕 Chris actually wrote the song after I was struggling with one of my many head injuries from horses 😂

It was also chosen to be the feature track for the film 'Sunflower' now out on amazon prime after it premiered at film festivals across the world. So proud of you Chris!

The only thing this weather is good for is taking pretty pictures 💚 We are trying to stay positive and picture spring on it's way. With this increased stable time you may notice your horse becoming stiffer, so now is the perfect time to add some treatments into their regime as part of your pre season prep 👋

He watched Twiggy have a treatment with .therapy as well as and then a groundwork demonstration with poles in the arena 🏇

I got a panicked phone call from my boyfriend saying that he thought nammy might be dying (see pic no.2) followed by me dashing out of the house to check and upon finding him actually just having some much needed REM sleep couldn't help myself but be so happy and relieved ❣️

Did you know that horses need 30-60 mins REM sleep every day and they need to feel relaxed and comfortable in their surroundings to do so. They are unable to reach full REM sleep whilst standing, so make sure they are happy to lie down either in the stable or the field at some point during the day/night.
