Exciting updates! The team is expanding! 🙏

Meet George (photo 1) who will be taking over the weekly bite nights and assisting Dan with running the social obedience community! George will also be taking on our new service so keep your eyes peeled for this 👀

Meet Dan (photo 2) who will be running the social obedience community as well as embarking on a mentorship program with myself which will lead to taking on 121s and various other services!

We're deeply concerned regarding the continued use of police dogs in public order incidents without the appropriate personal protective equipment. Police dogs are highly trained to deal with these incidents, but it's irresponsible to be utilising them on the frontline, without stab vests or canine specific first aid kits in police vehicles. We have a duty to ensure the safety and wellbeing of these heroic dogs, and at present they are being let down. We're therefore urging the new Home Secretary Yvette Cooper & Policing and Crime Minister Diana Johnson to commit to reviewing personal protective equipment for police dogs across the United Kingdom. 🐶🇬🇧💙

Our job is to guide you and give you the knowledge and understanding to enable you to train your dog. If you don’t do the work, there is no point complaining about your dogs existing behaviours.

Or alternately, feel free to book residential training which is priced for the dog trainer to use their expertise and train your dog for you.

Is work still required following that to maintain and ensure structure and fulfilment? YES, so if that still doesn’t work for you then the question that should be raised is why have I committed to caring for this dog.

This happens far too much with working breeds especially, get a breed for the look and don’t scratch the surface with understanding their genetics or have any interest in providing the correct biological fulfilment for said dog.

This is ridiculous and needs regulating before it gets out of hand. If you can’t fulfill your dog’s needs, please keep your complaints about their behaviours to yourself.

I am looking for a dog trainer

(will be vetted and required to attend multiple social obedience sessions to learn the rundown)

This will be every Sunday morning and will expand to more sessions as the academy grows.

Once moved into the position, you will be in charge of running and organising the social obedience sessions which will include:

• Obedience classes
• Pack walks
• Environmental sessions

You will also be in charge of creating content to further promote the academy.

The way the payment will work is:

The more the group grows, the more you will get paid!

FAO ALL CLIENTS 🚨🚨🚨 PLEASE READ

Hi all,

I have made the decision to relocate to Hull and take up a position with Protection Dogs Worldwide - long and short, the business will still run however with some changes to the structure.

I will be moving up to Hull 14th September, so I advise those who haven’t already, get those sessions booked in so we can build to the best of our ability before I leave.

The social obedience community:

This will still run on a weekly basis - trainer running this TBC.

What this will now include:

• academy creation
• private members only Facebook group
• monthly challenges
• discounts on 121s and residential based training
• discounts on boarding
• discount on mentorship
• social obedience Sundays (group walks and obedience sessions)
• video break downs and how to guidance within group page (aimed at anyone’s queries and training development)
• analysis, feedback and guidance on training videos
• discounts on seminars/workshops

Bite night group:

This will continue to run on a Tuesday evening with trainee decoy who will soon be completing his certification. Once certified he will then take over bite group and we will look to plan a day per month where everyone can come to the facility for a training day. (TBC)

I will also make the trip back 2 x per month to run these and develop dogs, handlers and those who would like to learn the art of development decoying.

121 training:

This will still be available upon request on set dates when I am in the area as well as half and full days at the facility in Hull.

Residential training/boarding:

This will be available upon request, will book up fast so advanced noticed is required.

Video calls:

Available for booking upon request.

Just had to post this! This team is awesome and every time I see them they improve massively! As you can see they are working on leash conditioning in this session.

First hurdle we had was motivation, ace is a lower drive pup.

We had a few sessions on how to build on his drive and begin to unlock his full potential and now he’s smashing it! To the point I was pretty shocked at how much his drive had increased in only two weeks!

These guys are working hard towards their quest to build advanced sport obedience and movement!

Christine is a natural, she has built up her motor skills with luring, leash elevation and analytics of Ace and he is following suite!

look forward to seeing what these guys achieve!

RIP Zyla ❤️

R.I.P PD Zyla from Leicestershire Police 🌈

Zyla has been named as the police dog who died on duty yesterday, after trying to detain a suspect wanted for attempted murder. Our thoughts are with her handler at this very difficult time. Rest easy now Zyla, your bravery will not be forgotten. 🐶💙🇬🇧

***Rottweiler Cross puppies looking for loving homes.

1 boy and 3 girls available, we've given them the best start, fed on good puppy food, microchipped, health checked. They have been wormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks. Currently 9 weeks old. All puppies have been handled daily by children of all ages, desensitised by basic household noises, fireworks etc. They go outside to do their toilet, really quick learners. Cute bundle of joys, very much Rottweiler in temperament and looks.
