Tedworth Park is one of the oldest polo clubs in the country, having originally been the home of military polo for many glorious years since 1907. Set in the beautiful grounds of Tedworth Park, the club is today celebrated as one of the leading low goal clubs in the country. Our membership comes from all walks of life and enjoys superb facilities in a happy and relaxed atmosphere at a competitive

cost. We are part of The Armed Forces Equine Charity and heavily rely on their support and the support of The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust and The Invictus Games Foundation to deliver much of our military and Veterans polo. We provide masses of polo for civilians, students, pony club, and military, throughout the grass and arena season, and have lessons running all year round. Club Information

Our very popular Instructional Tournaments are back for the arena season! What a fantastic display of 12 goal polo we had for the TopSpec Tournament exhibition game yesterday! It was wonderful to see so many supporters come along to celebrate the opening of the new arena surface. Congratulations to Bagber House Farm who beat Seriously Cool Events 20-15 in a very close and thrilling game!

Next Saturday 16th Nov we have an action packed day to celebrate the opening of the new arena surface 🥳 We welcome you all to bring friends and family to watch a fantastic display of polo, with a high speed 10 goal exhibition game, along with other 4 goal matches. We are very grateful to for kindly sponsoring the Top Spec Tournament. will be there in person to talk about all things nutrition, and to hand out some fantastic TopSpec prizes! We will have hot drinks available to buy along with serving up some delicious pizzas for you to purchase 🍕

The Pony Club children certainly had a great day at the PC Halloween Tournament yesterday with some cracking outfits on display 👻🎃 It was our first official tournament on the new arena surface which looked super smart! We’re back for the arena season, and with a brand new arena surface! 🤩🥳 Lessons start this Wednesday along with the first club chukkas. Next Thursday the 31st we have the PC Halloween Tournament and next Friday will be the first ICs, so book in early to avoid disappointment! 🍂 🎃

It’s bank holiday Monday, which could only mean one thing….we have a full day of military polo ahead!! The annual AGC Cup kicks off today at 11am today with matches taking place well into the afternoon. The sun is out, so come along and support! 🧺 ☀️

Reminiscing on a fantastic weekend for the KRH VL 4 goal and Kadugli Cup 0 goal. We had 10 teams playing last weekend! The final of the KRH Trophy was between Maize Dulce and Coombe Place. This was an end to end fast paced game which resulted in a draw when the final bell went for the fourth chukka. Coombe Place stormed to goal in the first few seconds of the 5th chukka resulting in them lifting this historic trophy at prize giving.

Massive thanks to Equine Products UK for sponsoring the tournament, and big congratulations to Harry Revell’s mare ‘Matilda’ for winning the EPUK Best Playing Pony rug. This weekend teams will go head to head for the huge KRH trophy (kindly sponsored by Equine Products UK) which is part of the South West VL 4 goal league! Not only do we have the 4 goal but we also have the Kadugli Cup 0 goal tournament and a -2 tournament this weekend, with a total of 10 teams competing in the park over the weekend!! It’s going to be exciting, fast, and sunny! ☀️ So bring your friends and family, a picnic, or grab a bite to eat at .

Some cracking action shots taken by of our very busy Canada Cup and Tri-Services challenge last weekend. We had 9 teams in total playing on Sunday which was certainly a busy day in the park! Congratulations to Canonbury who were winners of the Canada Cup 2 goal, to Black Aces who were winners of the lower section, and to the RAF who beat the Hook Army team and the Royal Navy team in the Tri-Services Challenge. Massive thank you to Charlie Fraser from who sponsored the Canada Cup and provided some very cool prizes! 😎 We have another busy weekend coming up with lots more polo to come and watch 🐎

This weekend!

We’re on grass!! 🤩🥳🥳 first GRASS chukkas commence this weekend with our first tournament, The Rabbit Cup, taking place next weekend. Lolly had a stick and ball this morning as Andrew finished prepping the grounds, and Tattoo looks and feels amazing! We have an action packed weekend with a Phase 2 course taking place tomorrow, a beginners course on Sunday, and chukkas both days. 🐎 Chukkas will be at 12:30 tomorrow if you fancy coming down to the park to watch 🧺

Client progress!

Today was a big day for two of our clients 🌟 Angus learnt to ride with Lolly from scratch, and one of his goals was to learn to polo ride properly before moving onto a lesson with a mallet. Today he mastered the rising canter for the first time 🙌🏼 Hattie has been coming to us for a couple of months, she was extremely nervous and had next to no confidence before she even got on for her first lesson. She believed she would never be able to confidently canter, let alone canter and hit a ball. Well today she did both! 🙌🏼 Here at TPC our coaches understand the importance of investing in the client. They work hard on the foundation of riding skills to build confidence and balance between horse and rider, and not to ever rush the client but encourage them to push themselves when the time is right. This is what hard work and consistency looks like, well done Angus and Hattie 🌟🌟
