Midland counties ch show. Well done Antonia Leech - b cc Mahmalade, res cc Ch Mahgaux.

Well done Duncan Venn res cc with Marcellus ( Chisel). You have let me show him three times this year and he has three res ccs, always behind Sara Robertson’s unbeatable Bomber.

Thank you to the Mochrashound owners who made the effort to be there. I was very proud of all of you.

Hoping to push this show across your radar as three classes for both BFDB and wolfhounds in the Sounth aren’t too common. Also it’s not on fosse or higham, so might not be on your radar. You need to be “ Irish show ready “ for this one as it’s outdoors on bare fields( ie take shelter / sun brolly and chairs).

It’s also a lovely friendly show and deserves our support.

Remembering Nordic ch Mochras Marzipan today, lost to stomach cancer aged 14 yrs 4 months. She left me as a puppy to join Svein Erik and Hildegunn Fluge nr Bergen in Norway. I was happy to see her as an adult when I judged Wolfhounds there years ago.

A wonderful house pet and a hunting hound through and through. Svein wrote an article for a breed magazine which I reproduce below. Thank you Svein for sending wonderful photos of Missy through the years.

A hunters horn would now sound the “ gone away” in her memory. Well done Missy, legend in your local area and a dear friend to those who knew you.

Thank you Svein and Hildegunn for providing the perfect hound home for Missy.
