It might interest you to know that Lains Shooting School and Mullenscote Gundog Training Centre is a haven for wildlife, as we move around the site we co-exist with a whole host of plants, animals and birds and we wanted to share some of them with you.
Here is a lovely photo of one of the resident pair of Buzzards (Buteo buteo). These beautiful birds are recognised by their broad wings and large rounded tails and can regularly be seen soaring above us with their huge wingspan of anywhere between 120-150 centimetres.

There’s still time to book a Christmas Clay Shooting Party, Individual Lessons and vouchers are all available. ….We are open Christmas eve the 24th from 9.00am until 2.00pm / closed Monday the 26th and the Tuesday the 27th of December , back open the 28th , 29th , 30th of December from 9.00am until 3.00pm and the 31st of December from 9.00am until 2.00pm .
Closed the 2nd of January 2023 and then resume normal opening on the 3rd of December. …In the meantime Happy Christmas from the team here at Lains Shooting School.

To All Lains Shooting School customers… our Electricity Company is doing some fairly significant maintenance work on THURSDAY 31ST MARCH. which requires them to cut off all Electricity Supplies for the day. Please note that The Clay Shooting School will therefore be closed on THURSDAY 31ST MARCH. Sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused …we will reopen for business as usual on Friday Ist April. Many thanks and apologies again. Howard
