Sadly going to have to remind those that don't.... ☠️💩☠️

It's up to you, as a responsible owner to pick up after your own dogs ☠️💩☠️
Not the person coming in behind you, please give some thought to others. Keep an eye on your dog, it's not that hard, even if you have more than one, they usually go where the others have.
If you (or your dog) takes balls throwers out of the hut, please return them back into the hut.
You would encourage your children to tidy everything away. Please respect the facility.
We are trying our best to give everyone a safe, clean space for everyone to enjoy. ☀️

Our field is secure & you can safely let your dogs explore off the lead.
The most obedient dog can suddenly feign deafness, when there's something to chase.

There's rubber matting to go on the walkway, but we were in too much of a hurry to get it in the field. So please be aware, it might be slippy in this damp weather.

New Year.... Same problem!! 💩💩💩
Please pick up after your dogs 💩
The weather hasn't been the best, but I know some kind users have picked up other people's dogs mess & I go every day & pick it up too 😩
I would hope that you pick up at home! So please pick up in our garden, which is here for everyone to enjoy.

Some dogs are very partial to a rogue 💩 and can smell it out at 100 yards. This can make them very poorly.
Poo on your shoes & taken into your vehicle 🤢

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE PICK IT UP! and the balls please. I retrieved 8 out of the Farmers field, he will have sheep in there shortly & they would probably eat them 😜 If one does inadvertently go over the fence, let me know & I will go on & pick it up.
Please return all balls & throwers into the wee hut.

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing on the A75 at the Eastriggs Junction from Friday 31st January until Thursday 6th February 2025.

🛠️ The programme of maintenance is as follows ⤵️

⛔️ Full weekend closure at this location from 8pm on Friday 31st January until 6am on Monday 3rd February 2025.

⛔️ Overnight closures (8pm - 6am) at this location, each night, from Monday 3rd February until Wednesday 5th February 2025.

✅ All traffic management will be removed by 6am on Thursday 6th February 2025.

🗺️ Signed diversions will be in place:

➡️ Eastbound traffic will be diverted via the B6357 Stapleton Road south after Annan, then directed to turn left onto the B721, continuing through Eastriggs to rejoin the A75 west of Gretna.

⬅️ Westbound traffic will follow the route in reverse.

With the snow and ice expected, the roads may well be gritted.

If you walk your Dog on gritted roads/paths please make sure that their paws are washed either by walking them through a few puddles away from the gritted surfaces or by dipping their feet in fresh water once at home.
Every year hundreds of pets throughout the country become seriously ill and in some cases die because of the rock salt and antifreeze being used during the cold snap‼️

Dogs and Cats walk through the substances left by gritters trying to clear roads and car drivers defrosting their windscreens and then licking them off their paws‼️

Consuming rock salt can cause dehydration, liver failure and pancreatitis, while antifreeze contains the chemical ethylene glycol, which can be lethal when ingested.
