Last week in Firmount we said goodbye to Claire our head veterinary nurse who has been with us for over 22 years. Thursday 4th April was Claireโs last day we enjoyed an extended tea break together which was emotional for all. Together as a practice we all enjoyed a meal on Friday night to say farewell to Claire. We are sure a lot of you know Claire as she has always been a friendly face around the clinic.Claire started in Firmount at aged 16 in 2002 as an animal nursing assistant. Claire was the first vet nurse to complete her veterinary nursing training at Firmount through Greenmount college. Claire has guided many students over the years through the same course she completed.Claire has been a great friend to many over the years and will be missed. We wish her good luck in her future endeavours! It was impossible to pick one photo that reflected 22 years at Firmount!!! โค๏ธ๐ฅฐ

Marley was really loving the staff yesterday. He certainly made everyone happy with his affection. Lovely to see patients not phased by being in the vets ๐
