🎄Christmas Fun Night🎄

Our last rally of the 2024 year was a Christmas fun night for all our members at Connell Hill! Everyone enjoyed a great night! 🤩
We also enjoyed hot drinks & hot dogs🌭
Thanks to everyone who got involved and who helped out!

ON Saturday, November 30 Connell Hill Equestrian set the course for the next leg of their indoor showjumping league, incorporating classes for Pony Club’s Barrier Animal Health Spring Festival qualifiers, carefully co-ordinated by mother and daughter team Rachelle Mark and Jamie-Lee.

September has been a busy month for the Mids as we have been training for our upcoming tests.🤩

On Friday night we had our Road Riding Safety Training, and we would like to thank our local PSNI who gave us a very informative talk.🚔

Wednesday night we had another great night learning about Rider Fitness at Crawford Brothers Racing, Magheramourne.
Our instructor, a physiotherapist, helped with rider fitness and everyone got to use the race horse simulator.🐎

Good luck to all our Mids who will be taking their tests in the upcoming weeks!🥳☺️

Very big congratulations to Samantha who won our raffle in aid of Air Ambulance and who will be getting to take home a beautiful hamper filled with lots of lovely red goodies, very generously donated by Clonkeen Equestrian A massive thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser, we sold more than 300 tickets and raised an awesome £313.75 for Air Ambulance Northern Ireland !!! ❤️💚🚁🎈

A massive thank you and well done to everyone who took part in our Mid Antrim Grooming Kit Challenge! Everyone did such a brilliant job and it's great to see so many well groomed horses and ponies!!

Happy campers!! Stables galore!!

Good news folks, we had plenty of rain fall overnight at Laurelview so we are feeling positive about the ground conditions! We were over checking out the course last night - there is good grass coverage throughout and the team has worked hard to roll in any bumps or ruts so we have lovely level ground!! Roll on Saturday 🏇🌧️🎉 Pics taken in the rain last night!! 😂

AREA TRIALS A massive well done to all competitors who took part in the Area Eventing yesterday at Tullymurry Equestrian it was a lovely day and thanks to East Down for hosting such a lovely event!! INTERMEDIATE Josh, Ami, Kirstin and Hannah T finished team 4th brilliant guys well done!! Individual competitor Tori also rode some beautiful rounds with clear SJ and XC! NOVICE TEAM placed 6th Hannah T, Jamie-lee, Charlotte and Hannah W all rode lovely rounds with some great dressage scores too and Hannah W finished an amazing 2nd individual qualifying for the pony club eventing championships at Cholmondeley Castle in August where she has also qualified for the dressage championships, brilliant well done Hannah! Zoe and Myah were on a MIXED team both had personal bests with impressive dressage scores and super sj n xc and their team was 5th, brilliant!! GRASSROOTS TEAM Jessica, Timothy and Jo finished team 9th with Jo taking 3rd individual and qualifying for the regional championships at Ian Starks!! well done!!! Absolutely fantastic results lots of personals bests way to go the Mids!! Anymore pics please send them to Trudy or Lizzy to pop them up!! #gomids #midsoverseas #PCchampionships
