Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary Mid-Antrim Animal Sanctuary is a non-profit independent registered charity. We rely entirely upon the kindness and generosity of the people of Northern Ireland.

The sanctuary is run by a small staff, aided by dedicated team of volunteers. The Sanctuary cannot monitor this page daily, so if you're looking for any information regarding rehoming, please call or email us.

Bruno arrived to us from another rescue as an unclaimed stray therefore we don't have much in the way of history on him. What we do know is that he is a lovable boy with typical staffie energy. Unfortunately Bruno isn't coping well in the kennel environment so we are hoping he gets his forever home very soon as it will benefit him hugely also. He is easy going and loves to spend his time lounging around. He would be suited to an indoor/outdoor lifestyle once he has had the appropriate amount of time to settle.

Mariah originally came to us along with another Poodle, Rumi, after a change in their family circumstances. We had rehomed them both together but unfortunately the relationship had broken down between the pair and they had become hard to handle. We will now be rehoming them both separately.

Mariah is a very lively little lady who loves playtime.

Mariah may be able to live with another Dog after successful meet and greets.

Mariah would be best suited to a home with children aged 8 years old and above.

Breed experience will benefit your application.

Star is the ultimate cuddlebug! As you can tell from our picture, he loves nothing more than to curl up on your lap and get as close you your face as possible. He is a sweet natured boy who loves to be doted upon. Star had been living as a stray before being surrendered to us. He is very people orientated, but does not like other cats so would need to be in an only cat household. He would also be suited to children with a sensible approach towards cats. He would be suited to an indoor/outdoor lifestyle once he has had the appropriate amount of time to settle.

Fluffy loves the princess treatment and getting pampered! She has the softest coat which she is very proud of. Fluffy spends most of her days lounging and sleeping on her favorite blanket. She is a very affectionate lady who adores attention.

It's been one whole year since Henry found his forever home, we can't believe how great he looks! 😍 One photo is from the first day he went home vs him now - what a transformation!
His adopters sent us this update to say that he is thriving and loves everyone, especially his big sister Harley and playing with his toys 🥰🐾
We just love getting these updates - Henry has certainly landed on his paws 🐕🩷
