Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from myself and the team. 🎄

It’s been a busy year and next year is filling up even faster. July is almost full and October is not far behind.

I have no plans to put my prices up next year, all kennels are heated, I don’t charge extra for medication, own food or raw food. I don’t take deposits and I don’t do cancellation fees ( as I can always fill the spaces ).

My 2026 diary is now open as I already have bookings!! ( it always amazes me that people are so organised ). I wish I was !!!

The kennels are always open to view, every day between 9am and 4.30pm, you don’t need to make an appointment.

Thank you so much to my lovely customers and their furry friends for making my job so enjoyable.

Just picked my boys up from Pitmikie Boarding Kennels very happy boys well looked after and cared for by Susan and staff they looked so happy from the video updates from Susan the boys will definitely be going back xx

Good evening customers,

From myself and staff at Pitmikie we wish to extend our heartfelt thank you for all your kind support over the last couple weeks. Recently we faced an unfortunate publicised review that was a subject of concern, involving a claim that was not attributable to any fault on our part.

Your continued trust of your beloved dogs under our care has been a source of confidence and comfort for us all here at the kennels. We are deeply grateful for the SSPCA’s support regarding their thorough investigation into this situation. Their commitment to upholding the highest standards of animal welfare has been invaluable. Their role in this process has been significant in reaffirming our commitment and practice is to the highest standard of care and responsibility.

We would like to reinforce that at Pitmikie Kennels, the health, safety and well-being of your dogs under our care remain our top priority at all times.

Thank you once again for standing by us, your support means more than words can express. We look forward in continuing to see all of our frequent faces and would like to remind our new customers that we have an open door policy to view our kennels and to meet our staff 9am-5pm everyday.

Thank you so much to everyone who has used Pitmikie Boarding Kennels it has been very much appreciated.
When I opened up I did not expect to be so busy. But they do say if you do a job you love you never work a day.

Everyone who has dogs residing with us at the moment please know they are all safe and well and cozied up.

We were lucky that we didn’t have any flooding or damage although I know a number of our customers were not that lucky and my thoughts are with you.

I know some of you have had to leave your dogs here for longer than you intended due to circumstances, but that is no problem at all.

I never thought I’d be ordering my 2024 diary on the 5th January but I did as already got bookings for next year.

Frequently asked questions:
How often do dogs get out?……..,.,minimum of four times a day, however if they are sociable dogs they can get out to play with other dogs (with customers written consent and full supervision), therefore if I can get a few dogs out together they tire each other out and get out for longer.

Do you need to bring anything?…………I provide raised beds, plastic beds and vet beds, blankets and towels however if you want to bring your own in, you are more than welcome. I provide dry dog food only, if your dog is on wet food or a special diet, then bring your own food.

Do I have a fridge and freezer for raw fed dogs?………….. yes the dogs have their own fridge and freezer and all food gets labelled.

Do I administer medication?………….. yes I do, again there is a locked medicine cabinet and all medication is labelled.

What are the drop off and collection times?……………any time between 9am and 5 pm.

Are viewings available?…………yes by appointment.

If you are considering kennels this year, I know it’s only January but spaces are filling up fast, I do send you videos and updates of your dog whilst they are holidaying with us, if you have any queries please call me on 07841635374.
