Lakeland Terrier or Meerkat? We'll let you decide🤣
Gorgeous wee Fonzo popped into our Broughty Ferry practice earlier today for a medication check up with our vet, Jennifer, and was a very good boy!
At 11 years old, I think we can all agree that Fonzo is looking great for his age! A proper distinguished little gentleman.
Lakeland Terriers were initially bred to hunt foxes. So, they have an inborn drive to chase anything that moves, a stubborn streak a mile wide, and the kind of confidence that can only come from a small dog who truly believes they're a tiny lion.
Don't let their scruffy-chic looks fool you. Underneath that wiry coat is a dog with a massive personality. They'll steal your heart, your favorite snacks, and the entire couch, and somehow make you feel grateful for it. They're smart, playful, and affectionate—but on their terms, of course.
Owning a Lakeland is a bit like living with a pint-sized adventurer with selective deafness. They're a handful, but they're also a hilarious, loyal, and utterly charming best friend. Just remember to secure your fence, and maybe hide the treats!!🥰💚
