Animal Rescue Centre- Arbroath Animal Rescue Centre- Arbroath aka A.R.C is a charity. We help to re-home dogs and other small animals. Animal Welfare Establishment License No. AW1. SCO47000.

Licensing Authority: Angus Council. Scottish Charity Reg No. Animal Rescue Centre- Arbroath is based just outside of Arbroath and we serve all of Angus. We help to rehome pets who find their way to us through change of life circumstances or sometimes in unfortunate cases of abandonment. We will share adverts of animals when they are available for rehoming & all potential new homes will be vetted a

nd adoption donations will apply. We are a registered charity, Charity Number SCO47000 & rely on donations from the public and fundraising. You can donate online through our paypal '[email protected]' using friends & family or contact us for bank details to set up a regular standing order. If you are interested in volunteering or adopting an animal from us please message our page. PLEASE NOTE: for INJURED WILDLIFE, please contact SSPCA on 03000 999 999. For any CAT related enquiries, we recommend contacting Cats Protection League Angus or Angus Cat Rescue and for LOOSE DOGS, please contact your local council's Dog Warden. Cleo, Lavender and Daisy were rehomed today with Scarlett from Arbroath along with Peggy, Maisie and Figgie at previous times.
All given new names and a new lease of life now they're having fun & getting spoiled 💕

A huge heartfelt thanks to the families of the following people who have recently handed donations into us after funeral collections have been counted..

£801.30 collected on behalf of Steven Leiper, a young man who was an ARC dog adopter from 2019. He was Ned's beloved daddy and his family told us he absolutely doted on any dog he came into contact with throughout his life ❤️

£225.20 collected on behalf of Joyce Masterton, who was a huge animal lover and over the years cared for a variety of small animals and birds, together with being a dedicated rescue dog mum too, her husband told us she would've been delighted for the funds to go towards helping animals ❤️

£250.00 collected on behalf of 84yr old Tam Barber, a loved Inverkeilor resident, who's wife wanted to ensure any monies raised went to helping animals in the local area, her neighbour was kindly able to make contact with us to drop this off at her request ❤️

We are truly sorry for your losses but ever so grateful for your collective kindness thinking of the animals in the memory of your loved ones 💕

🚀 New In-Person Dog Training Classes – Starting 20th Feb!

📍 Location: The Potting Shed, Damside House, Johnshaven, Montrose DD10 0HY

I’m excited to announce three new in-person training courses, starting 20th February:

🐾 Pulling to Perfect – Master loose lead walking
🐾 Reliable Recall – Teach your dog to come back every time
🐾 Puppy Class – Fun, positive training foundations

Each course lasts 4 weeks and is limited to just 3 dogs per class, so you’ll get plenty of individual attention!

These aren’t your standard obedience drills – they’re fun, game-based training sessions that help your dog learn in real-life situations. We’ll start indoors and then progress outdoors, gradually introducing distractions. Classes take place in my own purpose designed training barn with 8 acres of private woodland.

Both daytime and evening sessions available!
