Do you your own transport? (We are rural and unfortunately not on a bus route)
We currently are looking to fill some of our weekly slots covered mainly lunch times and weekends to help care for the animals in our care, duties include exercising dogs, cleaning kennels, on going training with the dogs and cleaning and caring for our small animals, feeding routines and other general duties.
Volunteers need to be over 18 years old or accompanied by an adult at all times otherwise.

My name is Max, I'm a lurcher x staffy, and have been in kennels since December 2023, coming to my current rescue shelter in February 2024.
I'm still a young pup so I've sadly missed out on a lot of early guidance.
My volunteers are helping me learn things but I'd really love someone to take care of me who I can call my own and continue with the training they're giving me.
I'll need to be the only pet in the household but I promise I give the BEST hugs to my humans.

So as you will all have read, Derek is running the London Marathon in April 2025 for the SSPCA, to help kick start his fundraising I would like to run another online dog show, but include other pets too, I'm putting out feelers to see if there are any local businesses or any individuals who would sponsor a class for £20, this would cover the rosette costs and any postage costs so that all funds thereafter go to SSPCA, the sponsor will also be the class judge and will choose the place winners, the classes available to sponsor will be:

Based on concept-based training, we will be using games to grow our dog's skills and drive behaviour transformation and learn in a fun an engaging environment.
This is a 4-week workshop running over four consecutive Saturdays at Clatter of Paws in Arbroath. The sessions will be recorded so if you miss one, there is the opportunity to catch up.

Max is around 2 years old and has a high prey drive due to his breeding, he has also shown aggression towards other dogs so to keep him safe and other dogs he is muzzle trained when not in a secure area and for thus reason he is to be homed as the only pet in the household.
