Are you a Muzzle Fan or a Muzzle Foe? There can still be a huge amount of stigma linked to muzzles and seeing a dog wearing a muzzle which realistically is very sad;

Why? Because the dog wearing the muzzle can technically cause less problems then any dog unmuzzled. In fact my ducks can cause more damage than a dog wearing a muzzle!!

Good muzzles cost more then you think
Good muzzles take time to be made for each dog
Muzzle training takes time - with a puppy, adult or rescue dog

Imagine how it would be if the attitudes towards dogs in muzzles upset owners so much that they stopped using them? Surely that would lead to more problems?

I muzzle train all my dogs. I have enclosed muzzles. I've had an epileptic dog for 14 1/2 years and know how disoriented seizures can leave dogs so if Cassie had needed medical help I knew I could pop her muzzle on her as a familiar item and vets would be able to help her without being at any risk of bites.

Please note I do mean a good quality, correctly fitting basket style muzzle, not a material muzzle where dogs can nip at the end, not a borrowed muzzle that is too big so can come off. And not a halti!!

Please find out more about Muzzles, why they are used and also if you would like to teach your dog to be comfortable wearing a muzzle take a look at our webinar and our muzzle games - just comment MUZZLES below to receive the links - all free x More info on Muzzles in the first comment x

Do you like Pringles?? Is that a silly question?? 🐢 We use empty and cleaned Pringles tubes for various tricks and skills as well as the lids being handy for progressing nose targets so if you are still finishing off any tubes from Christmas there's a few ideas we can give you! ♻️ Circular Sustainability uses less energy then recycling so repurposing the tubes makes good sense! 🐢 Once you've completely finished with the tubes and lids we are an official Pringles Recycling Location through Terracycle so drop your empty and cleaned Pringles cans into the box when you're next at training. Please do ensure all crumbs have been eaten!! πŸ• Tubes can have teeth marks in, be ripped, squashed etc lol. The older cans that are still on sale can be recycled but only at select places so we send off to be recycled to Terracycle. The newer cans that have been out over December say the whole tube can be recycled so these can go into your usual card and plastics recycling and don't need a specific recycling plant. ♻️ Just doing our bit to help Tendring and Colchester areas continue to be more sustainable! πŸ–₯️ Image description: video showing three dogs doing tricks with empty Pringle crisps cans. 2 red terrier dogs and a grey and white mixed breed dog push and roll Pringles tubes for fun and for treats.
