ππ FIREWORK SEASON AND OUR PETS ππ
The season of fireworks, which may be pretty and fun if you like that kind of thing, can cause lots of anxiety to people and animals alike π’
Did you know that RESCUE REMEDY can help ππΌ
Rescue Remedy is a natural, safe way to help promote calm and relieve anxiety, which is especially important during times of stress such as firework noises and lights.
You can safely use Rescue Remedy for yourself and your pets!
ππ» For people: just 4 drops on the tongue or in a drink as and when required will help relieve anxiety and calm nerves. There is also Rescue Night, containing glycerin as a preservative, which is more palatable to some people (like me!).
πΎ For animals: You can also use βnormalβ Rescue Remedy for pets too but you can also get a Pet version which is made with glycerin rather than alcohol (and the Night one is safe for animals too). The best way to give it is via a treat, adding four drops to them. You can also dab it behind the ears or on the paws (just be careful to sensitivity with alcohol: if unsure, just dilute with a bit of boiled water), or just add a few drops to water or food. Never give the pastilles or gum to animals; they contain xylitol and can be fatal to animals.
There is no maximum for the amount of times it can be taken/given, whether that is four times a day (usually the minimum dose recommended) or 20 times a day but the dosage each time of four drops of Rescue Remedy is the same whether it is a mouse or an elephant.
If you or your animals are likely to be anxious about fireworks, I would also recommend taking it regularly during the next few weeks and then you can take it as and when required.
You can get Rescue Remedy from places like Holland and Barrett, Savers or from me!
Enjoy the fireworks if you can, or enjoy peace in your home away from it π€© Hope this helps! ππΌπ
