And with that that the last dog of 2024 is away home!

I will be closed until the 8th of January but I will be replying to messages and taking bookings over that time as much as possible.

Shedding season is well and truly here!
I swear the dogs always look so proud of all the hair they produce and I think I brushed another dog out of this boy so make sure to get booked in to keep your pups comfortable as the weather (hopefully 🤞🏻) starts to warm up

One happy collie in his happy hoody.
This is a very handy piece of gear that covers the dogs ears snuggly to muffle loud sounds such as the dryers but owners can also use them if a dog is sensitive to sounds such as loud bangs and fireworks.

4 months old, full coat AND a top knot! This little teddy bear was an angel for his visit 😍 and I got to break out the cute elastic bows for the first time

From some of my younger visitors last week to one of my oldest.
Fergie is 13 years old and I would have never guessed it.
He can still get himself into the bath and sniff out the treats for after his groom like a puppy.

This big baby still has some growing left to do at 7 months old! She was in for her first visit and she was a star ⭐️ even the biggest dogs need a little TLC and pampering at the groomers

This little girl was in for her first puppy intro groom.
These are so important to set a dog up for a happy and enjoyable lifetime of grooming.
First puppy grooms include:
-bathing
-introduction to the dryers
-nail trims
-introduction to a clipper (if applicable)
-face, feet and hygiene trims.
-AND MOST IMPORTANTLY LOTS OF CUDDLES AND FUN AT THE GROOMERS.

We have a new salon record holder for the biggest visitor.
Dexter the XL Bully was in for a bath and deshed and he was a perfect gentleman, got into the bath and on to the table himself and even was up for some cuddles after.

After a much needed break post Christmas rush I’ll be back open from Monday the 8th of January.

It’s getting to that time of year again and even the short haired dogs are dropping their coats! Remember even short coated dogs can benefit from a trim to the groomers to help with coat and skin health and save you the extra hoovering

Sometimes the little puppies need a little extra time and patience. I love being able to take a bit more time with my puppy grooms to set these dogs up for a lifetime of positive experiences with grooming ❤️ You can book your puppies in as soon as they have finished their course of puppy vaccinations and your vets have given you the go ahead for walks outside (usually about 2 weeks after their last injection) The sooner the better especially for breeds which require regular grooming every 6-8 weeks

Short haired dogs still shed! This gorgeous boxer boy was ready to blow his coat and with a little help he’s nearly ready for spring. He is a regular and he loves all the fuss he gets when he visits and just look at all that hair that now won’t end up on his owners carpets!

You know it’s a good day when there’s a boxer on the books ❤️❤️❤️ This big fella loves his visits and that’s my main aim for all my clients. Appointments are available for next week.
