If there was ever a dog I could confidently say was as spoiled as my own it was Archie. You really were your mum’s little shadow. I am going to miss your feisty summer personality and zoomies. And I’m going to miss carrying you in my coat in the winter and keeping each other warm. The Vet staff at OReilly & Fee and Cromlyn House Veterinary Hospital gave you everything they could give. There aren’t enough words to describe how much you are going to be missed. You were loved beyond measure and you always will be. Sleep tight wee man. We know that you’re no longer in pain and you’re currently curled up in your favourite place, a nice warm, soft bed. Love your animals a little harder today everyone in honour of Archie and maybe add an extra treat to their dinner ❤️

“All my TB breakdowns over the years have been caused by bought-in stock.”

In his latest column, farmer and former IFA livestock chair Angus Woods takes aim at what he sees as the wrong target in the long war against bovine TB.

His land has multiple badger setts, including one actively monitored by the Department. But after years of watching TB play out on his own farm and in his local marts, he’s no longer convinced culling wildlife is the answer.

Instead, he points the finger closer to home: the way cattle move through the system — and the blind spots in how that’s managed.

It won’t be an easy read for everyone — especially those who’ve long campaigned for more aggressive wildlife control. But it’s written by a farmer who knows the price of a reactor and has lived through the test days.

Thank god it’s only for a few days 🙈

🔥 30°C forecast tomorrow! 🔥

The high resolution HARMONIE model which is often used by Met Eireann is forecasting temperatures to reach 30°C in North Ulster tomorrow!

Many places away from the west and south west coasts will be very warm with temperatures up to 27 or 28°C.

Please be sun smart if out in the sun!

So lovely to have Maisie back after having some time off while recovering from cruciate ligament injury. As you can see in the second photo, she is having a whale of a time finding the one and only mucky puddle 🤣

Someone has lost their glasses at Milford football pitch. I have taken them with me so they don’t get thrown in the bin here. I know if I had lost my glasses with the price of them, I would not be happy.🤣
