Oakmoon Lady Madonna (Nell) 8 June 2008 to 25 March 2023.
She is over the rainbow bridge bossing her mother and brothers around like the diva she is. We were with her from her first breath to her last. For fourteen years and almost 9 months she was our very special girl.
I had gone up to bed while she was being whelped and James called me down and we were so happy because we had wanted a girl tri. She was definitely pick of the litter :)

She was my showdog. Nell and I went to shows which she loved, strutting around the ring like the showoff she was. She was beautiful and she knew it. When we went to breed her it was an epic adventure through a snowstorm to get back from England but she took it in stride and had three puppies, one of whom, Lucy is still here with us.

As she grew older she mellowed out and only told Lucy off once in a while. She was the sweetest girl and loved us as much as we loved her. We will always miss her. Until we meet again over the Rainbow Bridge Nellie. 💔🐾🌈💔

Merlin (Oakmoon Mister Moonlight) has gone over the Rainbow Bridge this afternoon. James and I were with him and it was decided that he had gone through enough. He was wasting away with labored breathing and very disoriented and confused. This is always the hardest part and even more so because he was the firstborn Oakmoon collie. We were there with him for his first breath exactly 12 years and months ago on June 8, 2008 and today we were with him for his last.
He was the quiet heart of the family, patient steadfast and true such a good boy. We miss him desperately but we take comfort that we gave him a good life and he was loved for every second of it.

Tonight we said goodbye to Wanda Kynan She’s a Diva at Oakmoon. She was a fighter till the end and more than once over the last few years we thought we’d need to say good bye but tonight was her time. The on call vet was so good, he came and said she’d had a massive stroke. She was the best girl, a good mother to her pups and grand pups. We were with her and she was at home and it was peaceful. Merlin, Nell and Lucy said goodbye and I know Conner is greeting her with a gentle wag of his tail and she is young and healthy again over the Rainbow Bridge. We will miss her desperately and the house feels very empty even with the other three here. You were a good girl my old lady grandma and we loved you very much.😭😭🌈🌈🌈💔💔💔🐾🐾🐾🐾
