Mr Clover was in recently for castration, after surgery all he wanted was some cuddles from our nurses before he headed home!

Neutering male cats helps prevent unwanted litters, prevents the spread of viral disease and reduces roaming. Male cats can be neutered after 4 months of age or once they are around 2kg.

Key Points:
Exemption certificates must be obtained before 31st December 2024.
Third Party Liability Insurance and microchip information is needed to apply.
Neutering deadlines have been announced with the main date to bear in mind as the 30th June 2025 - remember we like to spay female dogs 3 months after a season so please do arrange neutering in good time.

Please don't hesitate to come to us with questions or concerns - we cannot type dogs but we can help you understand what you need to do and by when to ensure your pet meets all the requirements.

🐾 Tabby 🐾 Everyone meet Tabby who was in last week to be spayed 🐱 And sure what would you be at after surgery, some lovely painkillers and a good breakfast than making biscuits ❤️ Neutering cats is so important as it prevents unwanted litters of kittens and reduces roaming. Neutered cats are less likely to get into scraps and therefore less likely to contract and spread nasty viruses such as FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and FeLV (Feline Leukaemia Virus)! We wish you a speedy recovery from surgery, Tabby ☺️ ...and enjoy those biscuits 😉

This cutie was brought in at the start of the week feeling under the weather and missing her mummy.
