N.I.H.B.A. Herds Competition

Firstly we would like to mention, Stephen Cherry for doing a fantastic job on organising and arranging the herds competition. This event takes a lot of hard work and meticulous planning and dedication behind the scenes to make sure everything runs according to plan smoothly so thank you.
What a pleasure it was to have Marjie & Coote Geelan who arrived on Tuesday 20th of August despite the chilly dampness, to judge our Hereford cattle. Thank you both for making the journey out to our farm and braving the weather to share your insights.

On Saturday evening Mark & Jennifer Moore welcomed us to there home for the annual bbq. Thank you so much for hosting another memorable BBQ, your warmth and hospitality made us feel so welcomed. We appreciate all the effort you and your family put into making it such a delightful gathering.

What a splendid year it’s been for our herd! We’re absolutely thrilled to share that our lovely “Nancy Isla” was placed 3rd in the spring born heifer class. Not to stop there, we also secured a fabulous “2nd”place for the Best Medium Herd of 2024.

Congratulations to Solpoll for winning multiple awards on the night and also receiving 1st Overall Herd of the Year 2024 and to Trevor Andrews being placed Reserve Herd of the Year 2024.

EXPORT NEWS !!!

It is wonderful to share that we had a memorable herd visit on the 28th of July from Jackie & John Cooper from Rimini Hereford’s Preston, Barbara & Bernard Rimmer from Barbern Hereford’s Lancashire. We are absolutely thrilled to share the delightful news that our home-bred Nancy Volvo has embarked on a brand new adventure! He safely crossed the water to Preston on Wednesday, 21st of August. We would like to thank M & D workman Transport for arranging the delivery. He is now a beloved part of the Rimini Pedigree Hereford Herd and is settling in wonderfully.

Nancy Volvo our shining star on his memorable first debut, turned heads at the Calf Show in Dungannon Mart last November. His charm not only captivated us all but he didn’t stop there, he clinched the title of Junior Bull Champion too! His journey had been nothing short of spectacular.

We can’t thank Jackie and John Cooper for selecting Nancy Herefords, and we trust Nancy Volvo will be a superb addition to your herd. All the best with your new prize bull, and we eagerly await to see the fantastic progeny he produces.
