Thankfully because this girl is so wonderful, extremely chilled 😎 and experienced in everything she does I got away with it. Thank you beautiful doggie, you were so calm, and cool about it. What a true ⭐️.

Some people ask me, are all my dogs easy, and perfect to groom? answer….
Absolutely not.
It’s my job to teach doggies to have no fear. That’s part of grooming, it’s the really satisfying part of the job! 💝
Tuesday morning…..This lovely spaniel is brand new to grooming regarding bathing and drying. She hasn’t experienced the high velocity dryer before. It’s very important to give reassurance to the doggie. ♥️ Keep them happy, and reassured.
If you stop the process because you think they don’t like what’s happening you are actually reinforcing their fear, telling them there is something to fear. That’s the wrong thing to do.
If the dog is in no danger (groomer neither) it’s really important you guide them through the process.

This boy was very foot shy when he first came to me. It was quite noticeable! Over time he is really learning to trust me. I will never make him nervous or uncomfortable. My job is not to just groom him, but to make him happy to be groomed! That makes my heart sing……Suddenly you get that magical breakthrough and you just feel their trust. #doglover

Had this gorgeous boy a while. When he was new to me he wasn’t happy to be dried, amongst other things! That’s the best part of the job, making a dog happy. If you trust in the dog eventually they will trust in you! Now that’s a great feeling! ♥️🐾. Adore this boy. 🥰🥰🐾
