OMG in 10 days time I am aiming to complete a 50k walk in aid of Cancer Research. In my usual dick style I haven’t had time to do any training apart from one walk 🙈 which is going to make this walk even more difficult.!! God help my legs & feet 😬. 12 more training miles in the bag this weekend in preparation for - London Landmarks Half Marathon. 2 runs of mixed weather and emotions. Saturday I was meant to be doing my final long run but due to a blister from my trail trainers, I put on my road trainers to run Bracknell Parkrun. That became a highlight as I got my first sub 30 PB which has taken 4 years to get. Followed by the most amazing chocolate and orange cake 😋

This morning a long canicross run with the dogs and Katie. Due to not being able to wear my trail trainers I popped on the road trainers again. But in wet, muddy conditions that isn’t as sensible as I now know. Having slipped several times as no grip, my trainers got very wet which have caused a rather large blister on the arch of my foot. Then 5 minutes before getting home the foot went and on my butt I landed. Wet pants and a cut elbow but on I went.

Because, I can do that. But those suffering from the horrible disease Alzheimer’s or Dementia can’t anymore. And that’s why I would love to raise as much money as I can to help find a cure for this disease. In 3 weeks time I will be taking on London Landmarks Half Marathon to try and help this cause. Jana has officially retired from being a pet blood donor today. She donated 18 times which has helped save so many other pooches lives just like her mum Maya did and they both love the way they get treated when there along with all of the treats. Now to get Baby A’s up to 25kg so she can become part of the pack. Thank you to all the lovely staff for always making my girls feel so relaxed while donating.

Every small dog has some big friends! 🐕🐕‍🦺

Even if your own dog is too small to donate blood, they can still make a big difference by helping to spread the word among their bigger dog friends ❤️

Donor dogs need to be 👉 fit and healthy, between the ages of 1 and 8, weigh over 25kg, and be confident and enjoy meeting new people.

And just like that, the week is over and my last client has gone home. I would like to thank each and everyone of you for your continued support over the last 4 years. I could never of built a successful business without such amazing clients who even stuck with me through the awful covid stage.!! And watching those pupsters who came to me as wee babies grow into confident, happy dogs and the nervous pups grow in confidence being out and about with the crew. And the happy pups who fit in everywhere, it has been an honour and a privilege to look after and spend time with your precious babies. Thank you all for trusting me 😘. I truly will miss each and everyone of you and so will Maya, Jana and Ayla. Ayla especially as all of her life she has got to spend it with her besties ❤️. So here is todays fun and games and I will post any photos when I have the occasional boarder.

❗️ Lifesavers urgently needed in Bracknell, Berkshire!

To ensure we maintain healthy blood stocks over the bank holiday, we are urgently looking for more donors to attend all our sessions.

We're particularly looking for dogs to come forward for a donation session at Bracken Vets in Bracknell on Saturday 29 April. If you can attend, please give us a call on 01509 232 222 or book via our app.

To be a donor, your dog needs to be:

🐶 Fit and healthy
🐶 Confident and enjoy meeting new people
🐶 Between one and eight years old
🐶 Weigh more than 25kg
🐶 Have never travelled abroad

Please spread the word to anyone you know with suitable dogs in this area who might be able to help.

We have been winning today and somehow managed to avoid the huge downpour this afternoon by minutes. It’s the little wins in life 😊. Lots of fun, barking and running been had by all to end the week.
