We weren’t able to make it to London today, but we support all the farmers that have been to London and those who have stayed at home keeping things going and keeping the country fed.

With approximately 30,000 farmers going to London, hopefully the government will listen to the fair demands being made by the farming community.

With bluetongue ever closer with the restriction zone bordering the east of Derbyshire- keep vigilant for any clinical signs as described below.

If you are considering vaccination, as we are currently outside of the restriction zone you need a licence from the APHA - if you want more information please give us a ring and we will try and help.

If you are concerned, worried or suspicious you have an animal with clinical signs - please give us a ring!

We're really looking forward to seeing you all at Brailsford Ploughing Match 2024 tomorrow! Chris and Rachael will be hosting TB Advisory Service discussions throughout the day so seek them out in the tent to have a chat about proactively reducing your TB risk. Chris carried out a TB Advisory Service visit last week (as you can see from the photos - in the sunshine!!) we particularly focused on reducing TB risk from incoming stock and when grazing cattle at pasture.
