The countdown is on....

On Saturday (Oct 25th), the Ashbourne Poppy Appeal Commences.

This year, we have some very special items, available on our stand outside Sainsbury's and at the bottom of Victoria Square. Here's a preview of some of the range.

Please be sure to visit and support the RBL.

Last year we raised a record amount. Let's see if we can top that figure in 2025.
With your support, the Ashbourne RBL Committee feels we can.

Ashbourne RBL member Ann Smith and Mary Webster have been out on manoeuvres recently with Cubs, for a hugely poignant project.

A new pack of Cubs have been cleaning all the War Graves in the Cemetery and St Oswald’s Churchyard, ready for Remembrance Sunday.

The Cubs will be allocated a grave and they have to research the Service person buried in their plot.

This year, as a first, they also have to research the Ship or Regiment the person served in.

Ann and Mary have been supporting this hugely valuable project for several years now.

Ashbourne RBL would like to thank them, and everyone involved, in this very successful community scheme.
