🚍 Explore Staffordshire Moorlands Car-Free! 🌳

Discover the beauty of Buxton, Leek, Ashbourne, and more without needing a car. The Moorlands Connect service is here for you, now covering new areas including Cheadle, Denstone, Newhaven, and Rudyard!

The service operates Monday to Saturday throughout the year (apart from Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day) and also runs every Sunday from April to September. Moorlands Connect can Pick-up & drop-off anywhere within the service area detailed on the map. Connect to scheduled buses for transport into Macclesfield, Hanley, and Derby.

To book search for our Moorlands Connect app on your app store and download. If you’re unable to use the app, call us on 01335 342 951 Mon-Fri 9am-4pm You can book on the day or up to 28 days in advance.

Derbyshire Connect is a Door-to-Destination, On Demand bus service running between Ashbourne, Wirksworth, Matlock Bath, Cromford and anywhere in between.

🚌Fully accessible and available to wheelchair users and cyclists.
🚌Connecting rail and scheduled bus routes to Derby, Buxton and Leek.

The Moorlands Connect service will run every Sunday between 0900-1700 until 29 September, between Ashbourne, Buxton and Leek and across the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Monies raised in the community are so important for the continuation of our local Dial a Ride services for those with no access to public transport for shopping, healthcare appointments and social outings.
